I have children and would gladly accept someone else's!

I grew up in a strong Christian home with strong parent role models. I remember asking my Dad in about 2nd grade how I knew for sure that I was saved, but beyond that I don't have a specific conversion time. In high school, my Dad and high school SS teacher were important in drawing me to Christ, in college it was InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, in med school it was my husband and our church. Since those days, I would be lost without a small group Bible study to encourage digging into God's Word and be mutually encouraged and held accountable. I would say my walk is strong as Christ is my reason to live, but yet I am still being sanctified, so definitely not where I hope to be 10 years from now, Lord willing!

Ummm, total depravity is definitely an issue for me where I have stared at the depth of my sinfulness and hate the woman I see in that state, so God's unconditional election is an enormous comfort and reason for living with confidence.

I don't have a set schedule/routine ever, but I am studying Genesis on my own right now, memorize Scripture (working on Phil 2) when I drive or jog and read the Bible at meals with my children.

Don't have one. Maybe Abigail or Peter.

My husband died in 2001. My children keep my arms joyfully full so that I cannot say that I am lonely. I have a range of friends through church and work. What I miss is the partnering of a man - you-all approach life differently and sometimes I get pretty out of whack with my own thinking and need others to set me straight. I miss the constant friendship and help of a spouse, someone to share life's little details and give purpose to the every day tasks, to encourage the daily serving of God in everything. I would prefer to be married, but it would have to be amazingly clear as to God's direction rather than marry the wrong person, especially for my children's sake.

Humm, hard working, enjoys life, willing to stick up for truth, generous

Serving God in all things, my children, my job and patients, living a green lifestyle as a steward of God's earth.

My children, my home/land, my family.

Intelligent, i.e. actively seeking growth of their intellect, thoughtful, serious about their purpose and intent, fun, hopefully good at mechanics as I am NOT, healthy, active physically, loves kids, faithful as to God being first in their life, and it would be a blessing to have someone more even keeled and patient as my husband was...

My husband. We met when I was going to med school and he was getting his master's in civil engineering. He was very smart, steady as a rock and a jack-of-all-trades. So, we partnered very well with all kinds of joint projects and adventures - I was the cheerleader and he was the brains, I was the work horse and he was the planner/executor. We grew in our young adult faith together. He was so faithful to me and I miss his companionship and advice.

My husband died totally unexpectedly in his sleep in 2001. I have learned my complete insufficiency and dependency on God for all things and have seen His grace and provision in all things. We have managed to stay living in the country with land and animals to care for thanks to the help of my kids (mainly daughters with animals) and friends and my in-laws, who live in town. I am so much more aware of God's grace in my life since my husband died. I could never remarry someone who didn't have that same understanding of God in their own life.

Hmm, I'm not a huge movie buff (my children are attempting to bring me up to speed), but I like the Sound of Music, The Mission, Sense and Sensibility, Fiddler on the Roof and The Gods must be Crazy 1 for a sampling. I prefer a play so you can see the actors in real time. My favorite hymn is "Great is Thy Faithfulness", but I love a lot of hymns.

I have been a family practice doctor since 1991 still working at the clinic/hospital where I first started. We live in a town of about 3,500 and I love small town practice - seeing my patients in the grocery store and church and dentist office and going to parent meetings at school together. I have no desire to quit work as I love my job and feel it is a way I can serve God in a very tangible fashion. People are amazingly open in a doctor's office. We cover the clinic, hospital, ER and nursing home, although we gave up doing OB. I do consider my first job, however, as being a mother.

Help my children to continue to grow in their faith, get through college and established, Lord willing, with fulfilling jobs and Godly spouses. What else matters? But after that, then I'd love to do more serious landscaping/gardening and more hiking/traveling excursions. I could see doing volunteer/mission work after retirement that involves travel elsewhere.

What leisure time? Fortunately I love to work, so gardening, cooking, etc. is fun for me. I go on a 3 - 4 mile exercise run as time allows.
