I was forty two years old when the Lord drew me to Himself and showed me that I was in desperate need of His mercy and grace. I come from the Catholic background and until that time I had no idea that I was dead in my sins and separated from God for eternity.

For the last several years I have been exposed to solid biblical preaching and teaching in my local church. And the Lord has used many trials and a great deal of suffering to keep me humbe and more and more willing and ready to listen to His leading.

They keep me humble and grateful for God's mercy and grace. The assurance of salvation gives me peace and joy, because I know that the Lord will never let me go.

Yes, I do. Recently I have been studying the Book of Isaiah, following the series of sermons in my local church. I also listen regularly to the sermons online, especially those by Peter Masters.

I have several favorite characters, but if I have to choose one, it would be Job, becasue in spite of his suffering, the questions to which he did not receive any answers, he never questioned the love and justice of God.

If being "content" means that I trust that nothing is outside of His perfect will and control, then I am content, because I trust His will for my life. However, I would like to share my life with a man who loves Christ and lives for him, and is also fun to be around :-)

I think that they would say that I am warm, dependable, trustworthy, energetic, and sociable.

That would be my faith and my deep desire to see people being saved. I also pray and hope that my small local church will grow and that our church family stay faithful to God's Word.

I used to work as a high school teacher when I was single, then I volunteered for many years, and recently I worked as an office assistnat in a medical office. I am in the process of looking for a new position as a medical coder.

At my age I am not sure what life-long goals I could possibly have ;-) I trust the Lord and do whatever my hands find to do while I wait upon Him.

I love reading, watching good movies or investigative reports, hiking, taking trips (sigthtseeing). I exercise regularly and often take long walks with my little dog.

I grew up in Europe and duing my college years I traveled to England, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania. I have been to many places in the United States, including Alaska.

I have three adult sons, two of them live on the west coast, and the youngest one will live in Illinois for at least several years. I have no plans to relocate at this time, but I would be willing to do so if necessary.
