Peter: I was 20 when I confessed my faith publicly in the congregation I grew up in Burlington, ON. Canada (www.burlington.ca). Robin: I was 19 when I became a Christian - God mainly worked in me through reading the Bible, though I had Christian acquaintences in High School who I believe were praying for me! Our Christian walk is going well - I am a part of a strong believing in Spirit and truth denomination and church, love to have time with the Lord, and to have daily devotions with one another . Any questions about the riches of the Reformed faith please ask us!
Robin & Peter: They have humbled us and taught us that there is nothing we can do to earn salvation - it is only by God's 'amazing grace'. This has deeply affected every aspect of our lives and thinking. It also fills us with thankfulness. We also know that because of God's grace no failure or sin of ours and no attack from Satan or the world can separate us from His Love! Peter and I together strive to live each day in the depth of God's amazing Grace.
Yes - each day, as best as Peter and I are able to do both together and on our own. We appreciate your prayers for our Spiritual Growth! We enjoy just plain Bible reading, or using a devotional aid such as Today, Daily Bread, or other.
Peter: David as I believe I have been entrusted with his traits. Robin: I love Ruth, for her courage and faithfulness. I also can relate to her, because right now I'm the only believer in my family.
Peter and I have learned a lot from many years of singleness, but are exceedingly thankful for God bringing us together. It's just another one of His gifts.
Peter: Compassionate, Strong willed (not stubborn!), Direct and Personal. Robin: I think they might say (hopefully!)kindness, reserved nature, creativity, thoughtfulness. A 5th - I'm pretty organized. No Martha Stewart but I'm in the running.
Peter and I are definately passionate about the Lord, 1st. But in terms of other things, we are passionate about helping others, music, and God's beautiful creation. But God has given so many things to enjoy, too many to list! The latest and sweetest blessing is my fiance, Peter. God is very good.

Peter: Similar to that of my beloved Ms.Robin Searing. With the exception of I respect honesty and integrity very highly! I enjoy someone who loves the Lord genuinely, loves others genuinely, has a good sense of humor, and is friendly and thoughtful. I also enjoy those who love to think and discuss, but also need some quiet time (like me). I am thoughtful, friendly, love to think and discuss, have quiet times alone sometimes, be around nature (or not far from it!...). I also enjoy being a blessing to others in practical ways, and in praying for and with others.
Peter: A late pastor who served in my home congregation (Pastor G. Van Dooren) as he walked the talk versus talking the walk. Similar to that of Elijah with us to take up his cloak rejoicing in the Lord always! Robin: I'd have to say my friend Jennifer - she taught me how to enjoy life more, seek to use my gifts, and how to see things in the right perspective. Also, the people in my church influence my walk with God greatly, as well as present and past Pastors. I've also had a few coworkers/supervisors who have strongly influenced and blessed me.
Delight Yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart... Psalm 37:4 Though we are both imperfect sinners, Peter and I strive daily to bear with one another and forgive one another, and because of this have a strong bond. This is all thanks to the Lord, who brought us together knowing we compliment one another. We are trusting that the Lord will bless our relationship and marriage in a way that glorifies Him, because we love Him!
Peter: "Amazing Grace" as through Christ's work completed on the cross at Calvary I am renewed daily not on MY own merit! "There is a joy in the journey..." br.Michael Card. Robin:I really like the movie "Braveheart." It really sums up a lot of what my heart resonates with- in that the hero in Braveheart was someone of strong faith who fought for what (and who) he believed in. There's one line I love in particular that speaks of the fact that "all die, but not all really live..."
Peter: Exploring various options but cannot work until approved to do so in the US of eh! Robin: I work at a Social Service agency as the Marketing and Development Manager in the main office. I help with fundraising, marketing, and planning. The agency I work at runs homes and an outreach program for the mentally ill. I love working in this field, as my work directly impacts the lives of struggling men & women. I will enjoy this work for as long as God has me in it.
Peter and I strive to serve Christ each day in our marriage, and to serve and love one another. We enjoy befriending others and be hospitable. We like to help the underpriviledged as we're able, and are also mission minded. We'd also love to have a family and raise our children in the fear of the Lord and with love and gentleness. This is Lord willing! In all our goals, which we'll work on together, we strive to glorify God!
Peter and I generally enjoy reading, writing, time with friends and family, watching a good movie, going to or watching NASCAR races, car and RV shows, listening to or playing music, concerts (big one!), going for walks, shopping, and quiet time to think now and then. We also enjoy exercising to stay in shape. We especially enjoy time together! (In case you haven't guessed that already).
Robin was born in Danbury, CT and Peter was born in North York, Ontario, Canada. We've traveled to various places - the most exotic of which is Japan and Venezuela.
Peter and I love our families very much. Though they are not perfect and some yet need the Lord, we are very appreciative of them.
