I enjoy ballroom dancing. I have been a student at Arthur Murray dance studio for about 2 years... I tried it on a whim and I couldn't believe how much fun it was. I love to travel. I made a goal to visit all 50 states before I turned 30, and I made that goal 2 years ago when I went to Hawaii. I'm also getting more and more interested in photography. I have taken many pictures on my travels throughout the country, and I cherish the memories they bring to my mind when I see them. I LOVE music... I can enjoy a wide variety of genres but my favorites are classic rock, 90's grunge and alternative, and even some traditional hard rock and old school heavy metal will suit me just fine.

I'm not sure how old I really was when I first had faith in Christ, because I can't really remember a time when I didn't believe. I had a conversion experience when I was 10, at which time I felt like I had crossed the line from non-Christian to Christian, but the more I have learned about grace and the nature of faith, it may have been much sooner than that. I believe a more important question is "What do you believe right now?" Right now, I believe in Jesus Christ as Lord for the forgiveness of my sins. When I was a pre-teen, and into my teenage years, life was much easier, things seemed so much more black and white, and really, being a Christian was easy growing up in a small town in rural Kentucky where most of my friends were all part of the youth group at church. As I have grown up, gone to college, and become a working professional, I have been humbled by how much I do not know, how weak I am, and how naive my view of the Christian life was. Thank God my acceptance before the Father is the Jesus Christ alone, because I would be totally sunk if it was up to me, even a little bit. |

I learned the doctrines of grace when I was in college, and by the time I graduated, I had basically embraced the Reformed faith in its entirety. The doctrine of total depravity was especially helpful for me in truly understanding the depth of the grace of God. Also, because of my belief in the sovereignty of God and the greatness of his grace, it helps me to accept those Christians to disagree with me, because we are not saved by how well we know our Westminster Confession, but solely by the grace and mercy of God, through faith in Christ. We are totally depraved persons, but the blood of Christ covers our sins and imperfections, including our imperfect thoughts and beliefs. |

I don't have a regular quiet time. I do have regular fellowship with fellow Christians and hearing the preaching of the Word, and I do read and pray, but I do not have "set" times for these things. I have been reading a book called The Certainty of Faith by Herman Bavinck, and another book by Michael Horton called Christless Christianity. |

John the Apostle, because he is called "the disciple whom Jesus loved". I can't imagine what it must have been like being the closest friend of the King of kings during his time on earth. Also, the apostle Peter because of how often he messed up and stuck his foot in his mouth, yet he was still loved by Jesus and called to be his disciple. And then there is Solomon because he wrote my favorite book, Ecclesiastes. |

I have always been somewhat of an introvert, but when I am with my closest friends, I definitely come out of my shell. I am very contemplative and analytical, but I also love to laugh. You will become my friend very quickly if it is easy for us to laugh together. |

| I work as a property and casualty underwriter for a national commercial insurance carrier. I have been doing this for about 5 years now, and I really enjoy my job. I love working hard and I feel that this is a good career for me that accentuates my skills and talents. | |

I was born in Kentucky, and grew up in a small town called Mount Vernon. I lived in Lynchburg, VA for 3 years while going to college, and I have lived in Orlando, FL for the last 8 years. I have never traveled outside the U.S., but I have been to all 50 states. I love traveling in the western U.S. and visiting national parks. I am becoming more and more of a nature photographer, so I have a field day at national parks. California is my favorite state, and some of my favorite U.S. cities are Seattle, San Diego, Denver, Austin, Portland, Minneapolis, and Boston. |
