In Spring of my sophomore year in college I picked up a new pair of glasses with a new prescription. B-) But I had no idea God was going to give me a whole different way of seeing things by the end of the day! I'm still trying to get used to my new set of eyes!
by the grace of God I am what I am... It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Been going through 1 Corinthians recently. And on my way to work, I listen to our church sermons on mp3.
Can I say, "The Trinity"??? It's glorious to discover more and more how Truth is beyond my comprehension, comprehends us comprehensivily, so we might come to comprehend the incomprehensible.
Where is she? He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD. An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.
intelligent creative diligent beneficent
Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her.
Christ, Church, Calling.
Have conviction and submit to authority? Modest and ladylike? Quiet and have plenty of questions? Love kids and love to laugh? :)
my friend 'Bob' has taught me that being a gentleman is often like climbing a cliff and jumping off before thinking too much about it: pursue the virtue of bold, spontaneous acts of love and laughter.
I am happily engaged as of 7/05/2008. Praise God! God answers prayer.
"God created women to be mirrors so that man can see what an a$$ he is...a man hasn't the foggiest idea what his soul looks like until he gazes into the eyes of the women he's married to. Then, if he's any kind of decent human being, he spends the next couple of days throwing up." -- Phil, in The Big Kahuna.
Currently a software developer for Wycliffe Bible Translators, and loving it! http://www.opcNorman.org/Wycliffe/EricPyle/ I'm also a part-time seminary student at Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas, 10 hours shy of a Masters of Arts in Religion. Current class: "Problems and Procedures" -- Dr. Ed Welch.
I really enjoy programming for Wycliffe and could see myself continuing to do that indefinitely, Lord willing. I plan to take linguistics courses after seminary, which would be useful for my present work, or open up doors to be involved more directly with Bible Translation.

'EkPisteos' is greek for "of faith" Rom 1:17. I've been debt-free since paying off my car in Fall 2002. (Please pray that car maintenance does not become a burden!) let's see, what else? Trivia: I was a wrestler and a percussionist for 7 years through high school. I currently swim 2-3 times a week to stay in shape. On Myers-Briggs, I score an INTP, borderline INFP. That should give you a sense for the shape of my talents and temptations. Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Brahms, Chopin, and Ravel are among my favorite classical composers. Enough about me.
