Interests:

I really enjoy being outdoors, hiking, in the water, playing sports of all kinds, or just sun tanning. One thing I really enjoy is throwing a floatation device in the water and just floating down the river with friends. I really enjoy talking to people and getting to know them. Photography is a huge part of my life. I really love to get a great shot that they are excited about. I have two large golden retrievers that go with me hiking or any outdoors events. I attend a women's bible study on Tuesday nights that I really enjoy.

How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?:

I was raised in a Christian home which I rebelled from as a teenager. Now in my mid twenties, really learning what faith means and allowing God to rule over me and my thoughts.

How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?:

It has changed my way of thinking, the way I perceive things. In doing that, it has changed me as a person. I realized that prayer doesn't change things for me, but it changes me for things.

Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?:

I do. In the mornings I enjoy having a quiet time with the Lord. As well as the evenings. I jump around quite a bit, but at the moment I'm trying to memorize several verses.

Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?:

The women of the Bible are all pretty darn awesome...Paul is probably my favorite of the men.

Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?:

Yes, I'm content, but I would prefer to not stay single forever.

What are you most passionate about?:

The Lord and what He has in store for me. I would love the opportunity to use my photography in a way to honor Christ, but only in Christs timing.

What are three things you are most thankful for?:

My salvation is sealed, a family that has stuck together through thick and thin and my few good friends that despite my silliness still love me.

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?:

My pastors wife has been such an influence on me in the past couple years. She is an amazing role model and I'm so thankful to have her in my life.

What contributed most to your previous relationship/marriage not continuing? How long have you been on your own since this relationship and what did you learn from the experience?:

My previous relationship was about 3 years ago. We were good friends, but not meant to be married. I've learned that you really need to be like minded on the things of God.

Do you have any favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?:

What type of work do/did you do? How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?:

I've had a photography business for the past few years and it's been a wash thus far, so I decided to explore other avenues besides business. God led me to the healthcare field. I completed my CNA training to see if Nursing would be something I'd be good at. I decided that is not my avenue and am currently in EMT school, which I love very much. Everything about this job excites me. So I'm really looking forward to a career of really being able to help others in a desperate time of need.

Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?:

I would love to have a successful photography business one day, but we'll see what the Lord has in store for me.

How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?:

If the weather is decent I'm usually looking for a new trail to hike up or a lake to swim in or a river to float down. I love being outdoors. But sometimes I do enjoy going shopping and having lunch out with friends or seeing a movie. I've recently been learning how to cook a little. It's fun, but I must admit it's not on the list of skills I have :)

Where were you born and where have you traveled?:

I was born in Washington state. I've traveled quite a bit. I was 14 on my first trip to Europe. My second visit was at 16 for a year as an exchange student. I've traveled to most European countries except a few. I loved every moment of traveling. I've lived down in CA for close to 5 years which I enoyed very much.

Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?:

My Mom and Dad raised my 3 brothers and I in a small town in WA. My father passed away when I was 15 of cancer. My family has remained very close. My mother just recently remarried. Relocating wouldn't be my first choice, but if something came up that felt right in Gods sight then that would be my green light.
