I like to read and listen to music. Some of my favorite music is relaxation CDs and Celtic music. I like listening to Celtic Woman, too. I really like to listen to the violin. I also like to do needlework, but since my new job, I haven't had too much time for that.

I was 22 years old when God saved me. These days, I am diving into a lot of information by listening to convicting sermons and reading the Bible and excellent books like Knowing God by Packer. I currently ride the bus to work, and I like to listen to a sermon in the morning on the way into the city.

In every way. The Doctrines of Grace are very humbling to a person, and I see them everywhere when I read the Scriptures.

I am currently working through the Psalms...trying to read them slowly and think of how to apply them to my current situations in life. I just finished Knowing God by Packer, and God has used this book to bless me richly. I am now waiting for my travel-size Bible to arrive in the mail, along with Morning and Evening Devotions by Spurgeon, and I'll be reading those on my commute to and from work on the bus. I can't wait!

Peter tends to be one of my favorites, but I also really like Paul because of his convictions and the many great sermons he wrote in his letters. Peter I like because of his imperfections and stumblings, but he kept persevering 'til the end.

I am learning to be content. There aren't a lot of Christian men my age in my current church, so it's hard to meet Christian singles.

I like humor, sensibility and respect. I like to enjoy a good laugh with someone but know when laughing is not appropriate. I don't think a relationship can work without trust and respect, and I think a relationship without God's blessing will be very unhappy.

He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

I don't mind relocating. I think a woman should leave her family and go where her husband is. With the world becoming more wicked, and good churches becoming harder to find, it's not surprising that websites like this are sometimes necessary in order to find like-minded Christians seeking spouses and families. I do not mind long-distance relationships. That is sometimes a great way to court and can lead to wonderfully blessed marriages.

I think there is a lot of information that is best discovered through talking instead of reading on a list and checking which things you like or don't like. I don't think people have to like the same things in order to be a match.
