By giving me the understanding of who God is and whose I am in relation to a Sovereign Lord and ultimately understanding our purpose is knowing Him and the power of his resurrection. When I was aware that Christ was God incarnate in the flesh and had become my salvation in taking my place upon the cross having abolished my transgressions taking away my guilt of sin and its condemnation.

Joseph, because of his representation of Christ and his forgiveness of his brothers, who had betrayed him and yet how when they seen that it was their own brother standing before them, they were smitten in heart of what they had done. Joseph then turned and wept, saying "you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good".
David, because of his many failures, yet God so demonstrated his love toward David he was able to write in the Psalms: "Blessed is the man in whom the Lord does not impute or charge his sin".
Peter, because I truly see myself so often, in his presumptious ways, and yet how inspite of our careless and fragileness our Lord has so much patience with us that we are so constrained to run after Him, having no where else, to go because we know that He has the words to eternal life.
I have learned to be content in my Lord no matter what my situation is, although my desire is to have a companion, someone to share that walk with.
