Believe the Lord saved me at an earlier age. I don't really remember a time of not believing that the Bible was true, and made profession of faith at age 5. Grateful that whatever the Lord starts, He will complete. Hopefully this is not too simplistic, but view the Christian walk as seeking to constantly look unto Jesus as author and finisher of our faith, seeking to pursue the means of grace as much as possible, and seeking to build up His Church in any way possible.
They changed the entire perspective of life. I think it was Spurgeon who wrote that when he understood the Gospel/doctrines of grace, it was like a boy becoming a man. I can understand that sentiment. Scripture seemed to make more sense to me (doctrines of grace jumping out on every page) and there was a new freedom of mind and soul.
Seek to regularly pursue the means of grace, and am especially drawn to the Psalms. I do also enjoy reading other Christian books. Recent examples include "Thoughts on Religious Experience" by Archibald Alexander and "Children of the Living God" by Sinclair Ferguson.
Daniel. Admire his consistency in life and his unwavering trust in God in whatever circumstances arose.
Hesitate to say no based on a certain verse in Philippians (don't think I'd be content in all circumstances -- prison, shipwrecked, etc.). I do desire to marry and have a family, and believe that fits within my reason for being. However, also believe that all aspects of God's providence, including timing, are kind. For now, seeking to enjoy and take advantage of singleness.

Enjoy someone who is fun-loving in general, though serious-minded about the things of the Lord and of His Church. I'm on the quieter side, so I enjoy people who like to talk (but not all the time!). Since I am a sinner saved by grace, looking for someone who is the same -- I figure Chief of Sinners #1a and Chief of Sinners #1b would be a great match -- as long as in the midst of our sin and quirks making the other crazy, we point each other to Christ as well.
No one person stands out. I can point to many influences from various friends, pastors, coaches, teachers, and family members. Interesting to see, looking back, how others were used by God as an influence in certain circumstances and decisions (such as moving from CA to NC).
Theological/philosophical differences have played a part in certain relationships not moving forward.

Have been in broad "Finance" area for around 16 years. I enjoy Finance/management, but view a corporate career as a means to an end, and hope/plan to have other opportunities outside of a corporate setting in the future.
Have to stick with the Westminster Confession on this one: "the chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever."
Enjoy being active -- biking, running, and working out (as follow-up to the last question, it is very cool to me that enjoying life and the good things God has given can in a real way bring Him glory). Also enjoy spending time with family and friends in a casual, usually small-group, setting.

Raised in San Diego and also lived for 7 years in Los Angeles area, but now view myself as a transplant Southerner. I put the adjective there out of respect for those who are true Southerners - I understand there's still a difference; I appreciate the South and its lifestyle, and have now been here 13 years. I am open to living anywhere, but NC may remain a base, if it turns out not to be the home base.
