I can't exactly remember the date or how old I was when I became a Christian. I remember going to church at a very early age. I wasn't raised in a Christian family and my grandmother would pick me up on Sundays to go with her. Around 8th or 9th grade was really when I was drawn to the Lord in a real way. And my walk with the Lord has grown and been growing since then.So I came to know Christ sometime in high school and am currently preparing for fulltime ministry
My freshman year of college was when i was really confronted with them. I've heard that some run and some give in when confronted with them.I gave in. They give me a proper understanding of myself in our Depravity that we are estranged from Him without Christ. We are dead in trespasses and sin (Ephesians 2:1-3) Until He draws us to Himself and regenerates us by His Holy Spirit. Limited Atonement- Christ's death accomplished my salvation and by His resurrection it is complete. Total Depravity also shows that only by God's choosing to save us unconditionally electing us while there is nothing in us to merit salvation. It is a great comfort that God preserves and perseveres with us. I have done nothing and can do nothing to merit salvation. Only believing on Christ and His merits, faith which is God's gift, by His grace.
