Interests:	Hi! I am doing this on behalf of my friend Katie. She is reluctant to use this kind of networking to meet people, so I will be serving as her 'screener' since she's a little incredulous about this whole thing. I am Katie's good friend and former roommate before I was married. She was one of my bride's maids and is a very sweet and kind Christian woman with a desire to be married and raise children. I'll do my best to fill in the survey based on my knowledge of her.

On the subject of children:	I would like to have children one day.
How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?:	I'm pretty sure she doesn't remember a day that she wasn't a Christian since she was raised in a Christian home. She is a solid Christian woman, she has a faithful walk in a very difficult environment for Christians. I know she does take advantage of opportunities to witness, for example, I recall her calling me over to her home for dinner to help share the gospel with some mormons whom she invited back for dinner to discuss religion, etc. Together we were able to share a clear presentation of the gospel and witness to those two women.
Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?:	I'd say not really. She has a strong desire to marry a godly Christian man, which are harder to meet in her line of work, so she has not had many opportunities to start a relationship. She is faithful not to date unbelievers, and SGS will hopefully help her to connect with more single, Reformed Christian men.
What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?:	Katie is very kind and generous friend. She is also incredibly thoughtful and able to empathize and is always thinking of others. Though Katie is introverted, once she is comfortable with someone she speaks articulately and openly. She's quite bright, well-read and has a great sense of humor.
What are three things you are most thankful for?:	She, of course, is most grateful for Christ and his propitating work upon the cross and lives in view of His sacrifice daily. Katie definitely loves her family, and is very close to her parents. She also drives two hours away almost twice a month to visit her grandfather on the weekends and helps him out with his needs around the house. I'd say she is also thankful for the sacrifice made by all the troops and their families to protect our home and country. She is very patriotic, but not in an overly sentimentalized way. She is a true patriot and recognizes the cost of our freedom.
Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?:	Katie enjoys people who are witty without being sarcastic, honest without being mean, knowledgeable but not boasting. In the past, she has had guys complain about her being too smart or using big words, etc. She's able to think critically and express herself well, but she has never come across to me as being intimidating, so I think as long as you can recognize 3 out of 10 words on a SAT test, you should feel comfortable around her as well.
What contributed most to your previous relationship/marriage not continuing? How long have you been on your own since this relationship and what did you learn from the experience?:	Being in the military has made it difficult for Katie to build on relationships and meet new people due to deployments and training. She views her service in the Army as a noble cause in the war effort, but is willing to put it aside for the duties of being a wife and a mother.
What type of work do/did you do? How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?:	Katie is an officer in the Army, she does have a few years left in her current commitment. If you have more questions you can ask...as a military spouse myself, I try to keep this kind of job info off the web for security purposes.
Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?:	She definitely looks forward to being a wife and a mother.
How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?:	She does play piano from time to time. Sadly her dog recently died, but he was a big part of her leisure time, going to dog parks and walks, etc. She also likes to read--books on current events, biographies, as well as edifying works. Watch movies or go out and try new restaraunts around town with friends.
Where were you born and where have you traveled?:	I know she is from the DC, VA area, but also lived in Germany growing up so she is able to speak a fair amount of German. She has also lived in Ft. Campbell, KY and now lives in NC. She's done a fair bit of travelling, of course, due to the Army.
Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?:	Katie was raised in a Christian home. She chose to be stationed here in NC to be closer to her grandfather, whom she visits regularly. Though she does currently own a home, she would be happy to relocate after her commitment in the Army is completed.

Is there anything that the questionnaire didn’t cover?:	Someone pointed out that it looks like Katie is holding a cigarette in her profile picture. oops! It definitely is NOT a cigarette..it's just a glare from her ring.
