I've never known a time when I wasn't pursuing a relationship with Christ. I was raised in an extremely Reformed Christian home. I moved here from Wheaton College a little more than a year ago now to attend USC, and I've found that my personal walk very much misses the encouragement and guidance of the many Christian friends that I had at my undergraduate.
They are so a part of my life, I don't know how to describe how they've changed it. But perhaps I could say that they've affected it in the sense that I feel completely reliant on God for the gift of salvation and must admit that I have no control on this or any aspect of my life that isn't given to me by Him. It has also strongly made an impression on me that there is nothing better or more worthy in me or any other Christian and that I am just as unworthy as the common "sinner."
Yes. Right now I'm studying the life of Christ.
Jonathan...I always loved him for loving David so much. It is a beautiful picture of selflessness in a world where we are all so often extremely selfish. He loved David despite the fact that David's "worldly" success would take away his own.
At the moment, surprisingly, yes. I am aware that I'm still young, and I'm very excited about all the wonderful and interesting things there are to experience and grow in. Of course, I always look forward to finding someone to share it all with.
I hope they would say loyal and steadfast. I think they might also say lively, smiling, and dramatic. :)
I think I would have to say people. I love people. I love meeting new friends and keeping up with old ones. I constantly enjoy having many people in my life.
Friends and Family, New and exciting experiences, the fact that God never changes even though I and everyone else around me does.
I enjoy someone who is mature yet has a great sense of humor. Someone who is easy going and very gentle and kind.
I think that my voice teacher in highschool had a great affect on me and really guided me musically and gave me a love for what I was doing. My friends at Wheaton also have influenced me a great deal by expanding my thought process and view of the world.
I am very young, so obviously immaturity was, I'm sure, a factor. Also, different beliefs and outlooks on the Christian walk and doctrine were a contributing factor.
ahhhh...I can't think this fast. :) I do love John Donne's "Hymn to the Father". Fabulous. It's also been set to music for choir.
I am a student, but I also work in the music office as well as doing office work and beginning publicity for the production of a new musical. I have done many different types of office jobs. These are my "real" jobs since music isn't exactly a goldmine profession.
One was to go to Europe, but unexpectedly I got to do that this year. I have a great interest in traveling to many different places. I also have some wishes to later be involved in giving theater to the community.
Well, I love just being with friends. I also enjoy alone time as well. I like reading as well as being on the computer. Movies are always a favorite and so is trying to keep in shape.
I am the last of four siblings...all very close in age. Unfortunately, they are all over the US with their spouses. I am here in California for school. My parents also happen to be here. I hope to move next year after school is done, but I haven't decided where.
