I was raised in a Christian home and have not known a day where I didn't know Jesus Christ. I have been blessed with a wonderful, godly family and a wonderful church and am growing in my knowledge of God and my love for Him.

I've always been Reformed, and the knowledge of God's sovereignty thrills me whenever I think of His work in gathering a church for Himself.

Yes. I'm reading through the New Testament, in I Corinthians right now. I'm also reviewing my notes from Calvin's Institutes from when I studied it several years ago.

Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite (see Judges 4 and 5). I like her because she was fulfilling God's calling for a woman- to be a helper to her husband- and then when the opportunity came to help Israel win the victory over Sisera, she took it. She wasn't taking authority in an inappropriate way (like Deborah); she was serving God right where He had placed her.

Yes! God has really changed my heart in this area over the past couple of years. I'm doing what I love and I love living at home too. But, I do love kids and I'd love to take care of my own home someday too.

Teaching and missions. I read all of the OPC missions updates and I occasionally have "Mission Emphasis Week" for my Sunday School class. I am fascinated by how God is working in different countries.

My family, my church, and the opportunities I have for service and teaching.

I enjoy someone who is a good listener, who likes to talk about spiritual things, and someone who cares about people. I admire the quality of humility, yet correct doctrine is really important to me too. I am good at empathizing with others, and I enjoy getting to know different people.

My older sister. We've been best friends our whole lives, and she's a great listener. She encourages me in my various projects and gives me good advice.

Psalm 27:14: "Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!" This verse has encouraged me through difficult times in my life where I didn't have a plan or direction for my life.

I teach piano lessons. I have 11 students and I absolutely love it! I also teach Sunday School for ages 7-12, I have six students in that class. I live on a dairy farm and I enjoy working with my family, doing the bookkeeping, and working with the cows.

I would like to be a missionary some day. Either in my own country (the U.S.) or anywhere else, although Uruguay has a special place in my heart. I would love to get married and have a big family, as I love kids and all the aspects of running a household. I would like to homeschool my kids, since I love teaching, and I would like to be involved in personal ministry and outreach no matter where I live.

I like to read, especially missionary biographies or other Christian biographies. I like to play the piano and write music. I like to do things with my family like walking in the woods, or working together. I love baking and sometimes I clean the house just for fun, too. I enjoy babysitting big families (6 or more kids). I can't stand TV, and as a general rule I don't really enjoy movies either. I usually end up saying, "I'd rather read a book".

I've lived in Michigan my whole life; I've been to Mexico and Uruguay on mission trips.

I'm the third out of seven kids. I love my family very much. We are a close-knit family. However, to be a missionary I kindof have to move away, so I'm fine with that.
