Writing of course along with books. Marine Biology particularly whales and dolphins (cetateans). My family had to endure through many an ocean documentary. Animals, history, weather, and basicaly God's creation. |

Christ has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Thankfully my parents raised me and my sisters with the idea that Christ is supposed to permeate every detail in life. This doesn't necessarily mean I have never struggled in my walk. But, by grace, I have always been guided through and continue to grow. |

Honestly this is an area where I struggle. I am so glad God is patient! Currently I am working through a reading schedule in my ESV Literary Study Bible. Otherwise, sometimes I read Spurgeon devotionals, or George Herbert poems with corresponding readings. |

I would have to say that Luke is my favorite. I like the way God used his talent for writing to tell the story of Jesus and the acts of Jesus through the apostles. I also like that, even though he could have been a rational man of science in his work as a physician, God used Luke to chronicle His wondrous acts that are beyond what our rational mind can comprehend. It also interesting to see the loyalty Luke showed to Paul as one of his helpers; even going through some difficult times. |

It depends on the day. It is part of the universal human experience to seek a relationship. God is the ultimate relationship; in that regard I am content. But, I like Jane Austen and am a bit of a romantic in that sense of the word. |

Here is what one of my best friends (who happens to be my sister) says: Creative Quiet Philosophical Cute
Note: I am not so sure about the cute part though. Apparently she has forgotten the little tussles we used to get into when we were little. ;) I am going to get an outside of family opinion though. |

There are too many to tell about so here is a story to illustrate this dilemma. My dad once told me he tried to highlight the passages in the Bible that impacted him most. He showed me the book and practically no word was left untouched by the blue highlighter. The whole of Psalm 34. Look it up; it's a beautiful Psalm. “If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.” “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” "The soul that on Jesus has leaned for repose, I will not, I will not desert to his foes; that soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake, I'll never, no never, no never forsake." How Firm a Foundation Verse 6.
The endless cycle of idea and action, Endless invention, endless experiment, Brings knowledge of motion, but not of stillness; Knowledge of speech, but not of silence; Knowledge of words, and ignorance of the Word. All our knowledge brings us nearer to our ignorance, All our ignorance brings us nearer to death, But nearness to death no nearer to God. Where is the Life we have lost in living? Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge? Where is the knowledge we have lost in information? The cycles of Heaven in twenty centuries Bring us farther from God and nearer to the Dust. Choruses from "The Rock" by T. S. Eliot |

I am currently writing and love the time spent crafting it. My day job is working at a Veterinarian Hospital. I work in the pet resort area of the Hospital. There I walk dogs, dodge cat claws, bathe dogs, and play with the dogs and cats. I love animals so I do enjoy most of my work. One day though I would like to go into teaching. |
|
Speaking of teaching, I want to teach others the joy and solace that can be found in writing and reading. These two aspects are lacking from many lives and I want others to have the chance see the world and God through them. So teaching is a goal for me in whatever form it will take. I would also like to complete a series of books I have been working on and have them published, though I hope it doesn't take me a life-long to do. :) Another goal for me is to grow in santification and closer to God. |

This profile is a work in progress. Unfortunately I am a slight perfectionist and it takes me a long time to formulate my thoughts so keep checking back. :) |
