I was a false professor for many years in freewill,Arminian church knowing much about the Bible.but not the Christof the Bible. I was 40 when I heard and believed the true gospel of grace and Jesus revealed Himself to me! I was a new babe in the true and living Christ.
They turned my world upside down! Christ's perfect successful atonement for the elect sinners, His sheep is amazing. Love that is powerful enough to deliver all those He is merciful to is Free sovereign grace. The saving of hell-deserving sinners is wonderful,amazing, gracious, all-wise work!
Yes, the Book of Joshua. In it the man of God who delivers Israel into the promised land, defeating all of their enemies and honoring God's law. This is a foreshadowing of the True Joshua, Christ Jesus, who saves His people from their sins, honors and obeys the law and defeats all of spiritual Israel's enemies leading them into the Kingdom of God!
Peter may be my favorite because of his many faults. He like me falls flat many times to rise again on the Rock of Salvation.
