I would like to have children one day, AND/OR would gladly accept others.

I was 19 when the Lord drew me to Himself. Since then my walk with Christ as been one of me slipping and falling and Him constantly sanctifying me. I'm constantly growing in my dependence on Him and less on myself, while growing in the knowledge of Him who perfects His people.

They radically changed my outlook. I wasn't too far into my Christian life when I realized the truth of the doctrines of grace (attending a calvinistic church helped, though I was not at ALL in agreement with the Doctrines of Grace at the time). However, since then knowledge of God's sovereignty in all things has helped keep me on the biblical path and often been used by the Holy Spirit to humble me when I would become too prideful.

I'm slowly making my way through Greg Nichols' "Covenant Theology: A Reformed and Baptistic Perspective on God's Covenants." As far as meditating on scripture, I often find myself returning again and again to John's Gospel and his first Epistle, aside from the scripture being preached through at church.

I've learned to stop being discontent, if that's an answer. I was indeed discontent with my singleness for many years, but it was not good for me. I'm not at all interested in remaining single, but while I am I'm learning more and more how to use that time in a way that I know I could not (or could not as easily) use it once I am married.

I'd have to ask them :). They seem to think I'm a good friend for some reason, despite my social clumsiness.

Christ and His Gospel (not diluted or watered down by anthropocentric sub-biblical theology), varying things electronic, and politics & culture (that is, things I am willing to get into heated arguments over)

My church family, my job, and Christ's mercy on me a wretched, undeserving sinner.

Can't answer that with one person. There have been different specific individuals who have been most influential at different parts of my life. Currently, that status is held by 2 men: Pastor Don Fry & Dr. James White, the two elders of my church. Their faithfulness in preaching and teaching and their own personal interaction with me has been incredibly impactful upon me personally. Also, volunteering a good deal of my time at Alpha & Omega Ministries has been particular impacting for growth and for simple witnessing of a man faithfully using his God-given talents for God's glory and the edification of Christ's church.

Mainly, my own immaturity. I was only barely a Christian when my last romantic relationship ended, and neither of us was grown up enough for it. That was over 8 years ago now.

I'm a systems engineer in the avionics field. That means that I handle design requirements and test design at a systems level (box-in/box-out or partition-in/partition-out) for airplane internal electronic components (such as flight control systems, FMS, transponder, TCAS, etc.). I've been working in the field effectively since May of 2007. There was a 14 month hiatus while I was unemployed from June 2009 till August 2010, however.

I enjoy it well enough to not be discontent. The job title sounds far more mystical/glamorous than it really is. There is alot of dull work in MS Office and simply thumb-twiddling while other people get back to you on things you need in order to continue on, but I'm good at what I do and it's good work.

I am a voracious reader of military science fiction (specifically the works of David Weber and John Ringo), and I'm a fairly skilled video game player. I also love swing dancing, and am thankful I live in a part of the US where there's some place to go swing dancing just about every night of the week.
