I have always known Christ as my Savior, but made a public profession at eight. My walk with Christ continues to deepen as I seek Him.
The Doctrines of Grace are the foundation of theology that I use to study and learn more about the nature of Christ. THey are essential to my walk with my Lord now.
I like to have quiet time in the evening after all "agendas" for the day have past. It gives me opportunity to reflect on my day according to Biblical principles. I am working through Matthew Henry's commentary for the book of Acts.
Jesus; His is the ultimate goal for imitation.
My desire is to be married and have a godly family. If the Lord God can best use me single, then I will be content.

I have been in only one four-year courtship through high school, and the young man decided that I was more like a sister to him (before he went off to college in another state). I learned that it is best to have relationships of that intensity when both people are ready to get married. It is great if both sets of parents can be CLOSE accountability partners and moniter that kind of relationship closely (high school, especially). Time is a great indicator between 'puppy love' and the love that Christ calls for in a marriage-intended relationship.
Psalm 16 is my favorite passage of Scripture. I also love the words to the following hymns: O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus; Holy, Holy, Holy; Come Thou Fount; El Shaddai; How Sweet and Awesome is the Place; Be Thou my Vision; and too many more to name.
I am a beginning violin and voice teacher. I have been teaching for 3 years, and am currently working on finishing my undergrad in Music Education/Sacred Music. I LOVE teaching!!
I want to be in the center of God's plan for my life. I would like for that include a family of my own.
At this point, to finish school and go back home (Jacksonville, NC) to start a children's community chorus and orchestra. Also to maybe go on for my Master's in Sacred Music.
I love to ride my horses, and sing classical music. I love a deep Bible study, and small group discussions. I really enjoy listening to Ravi Zacharias, John Piper, John MacArthur, Jerry Bridges, and R.C. Sproul.
I was born and raised in NC. I have not travelled much at all, but would love to if God provides the opportunity.
I am very close to my family (especially my mother). If the Lord placed me in a situation where I needed to move, I would go.
