I made a profession of faith at age 11, but I believe that I was not converted until age 30 by a type of Damascus road event. These days I am marveling at the spiritual insights and lessons that God is graciously giving me, both in my interface with Him, and through my interface with other souls.
God's sovereignty testifies to and explains the whole purpose and meaning of life, and is the only plausible theology to make sense out of my own experiences and my experiences with others. Despite the theme of neuro-linguistic programming, prevalent in today's popular psychology, of elevating the self image, I am persuaded that our goal should be just the opposite-although learning this is hard the doctrines of grace demand this understanding.
All my time is quiet-either in prayer, or reading the Bible and other books. On-line streaming audio has opened up new vistas with John Piper and Ravi Zacharias, etc. I have recently been reading Jacque Ellul-fascinating ideas.
I have many, but Joseph's life resembles much of my own experience-unfortunately, so does Job's.
No I might wish I did not need/want a wife, and I know that God should completely satisfy, but I am candidly lonely. My three little girls need a feminine influence; and, one of the roles of a wife, I believe, is providing the inspiration and motivation a man needs-even in his service in God's kingdom. In other words, a man works best for a woman, and I could use the boost.

I am "poor and needy", and while I don't know if this is an observed quality, if God provides a wife, she would also need to be poor and needy- in the Psalmist's sense of the words.
finding my place of service to advance the kingdom of God, and further learning about just who and what I am in Christ At this moment, I am also passionate about finding a mate to share life with.

a desire for God A good work ethic, emotional maturity in less than perfect circumstances, and a heart that is tender and seeks the knowledge of God, are important attributes. I don't ask anything of someone else that I don't require of myself. To liberally paraphrase Dr. Phil, and what I try to live by, "SELF DOES NOT MATTER."

I very much want a wife and more children. I missed out on much of the experience because of my wife's untimely death. My girls were quite young when she died. Also, I am too distant from a vibrant church, but I am not sure how to solve this.
My avocation and vocation are the same. I live in the middle of the mountains, so I have much to enjoy outdoors.

I would relocate if the church situation was right, but it would be hard to duplicate what I have here. I home school, milk a cow daily, am a naturalist, eat organically if possible, like sharp hand tools, and have three extremely obedient and industrious girls. My 89 year-old mother (disabled) also lives with us. I would relocate if I thought God was leading me to greater opportunities for service-which I very much hope He does.

I have the capacity for deep and loyal love, and I am undiscovered. I am young for my age and quite fit. I cannot seem to upload pictures, although the password is mountain7. I will keep trying-oh yes, perseverance is one of my strong points.
