in my 20's; growing, disciplined, excitingly-scarey and totally grace-dependent as I serve in full-time medical-evangelism missions - I am constantly stretched out of my comfort zone (physically, emotionally, professionally and spiritually)!
convicted, awed, transformed me
most days early in the morning; Phillipians - the 'gospel of joy' as my missions agency co-ordinator calls it; I vary my devotional accompaniments to the Word
Other than Jesus: Ruth (trusted)...no, Esther (obeyed in the face of fear and possible death)...no, Peter (impetuous but forgiven and then mightily used)...hmmm, probably Paul (single-minded for Christ)...how does one decide?!
yes; Jesus is my bridegroom, until (if or when) God's providence would otherwise reveal itself
I hope they'd say: kind and thoughtful, fun-to-be with, a supportive friend and mother, and that I treasure Jesus above all others/all else!
Jesus Christ, my bridegroom; my calling to a 2nd career in missions; my family (especially my 6 grands'.. and one more on the way!)
my salvation, my family, and all my Prayer & Financial Partners (churches and indiduals) who by His Spirit enable me to walk this missionary path.

sincere, honest, transparent, dependable, trustworthy, loves Jesus above all else, sense of humor, compassionate; Oo-o-o, I'm all of those to a degree, but have SO much room to grow - the longer I follow Jesus, the more I see the gap between my degree of holiness and His perfection!

2 broken, self-centered people using dysfunctional sin strategies in a union that didn't understand grace or covenantal love; since 1992; I am still much in need of mercy and awed by His daily grace
LOTS of OT & NT Scripture (especially Psalms & Paul's letters) and lots of hymns (like Be Thou my Vision) RUF songs and contemporary praise songs; can't usually remember movie lines!

I am living my adult-as-believer goal, PTL! Would love to one day visit Sweden from where all 4 grandparents immigrated in the early 1900's.
grandkids, reading, gardening, fitness, coffee with friends, small groups vs large, occ. movies, crosswords, family games; loved to scuba but don't go anymore.

I'm in Atlanta for geographic reasons (near my mission-sending agency and an international airport for my 5 or 6 per year mission trips; my younger daughter is here; my older daughter & family are in MS
