Interests:	I'm just a guy, so if it goes fast, can get you killed, goes "bang" or "boom" I love it. But I also enjoy beauty, especially the beauty of nature & of good art in it's many forms (but don't ask me anything technical about it). Most of all I love Christ, though it's a constant battle with my heart, the idol factory. I am excited to be a part of his kingdom, a soldier in his army. I have just started pursuing a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics at GIAL, a school in Dallas closely associated with Wycliffe & SIL. I'm not sure yet where God wants me to be, but I'm excited & I'm moving forward with this right now, trusting that he will show me what the next step is when the time is right.

How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?:	Early 20s. Strongest, closest & sweetest its been. On fire to not waste another moment.
How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?:	They are entirely humbling. A fuller, deeper understanding has kicked in my pride & helped me to long to reach people who have never heard of Christ. How can I be an instrument of mercy?
Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?:	Yes. Bible.
Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?:	Boaz. Hard working; faithful to the Lord & the law of God in some of the worst time of Israel; enjoyed a drink ;married a godly, faithful woman because she was a godly, faithful woman. (Ok, I'm a huge sucker for that story).
What are you most passionate about?:	Missions.
What are three things you are most thankful for?:	Christ, my parents, my extended Christian family.
Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?:	A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.
Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?:	Probably Piper - I've just gotten infected by God's glory & it started by listening (in random order b/c the iPhone does strange things sometimes) to Desiring God. Other men have expanded on that in preaching I've heard & so that vision just keeps growing. Roland Spiek - a guy I met in my church in Hawai'i, overflowing with joy in God, passionate to share the gospel with the lost, always has a Bible verse ready to close a phone conversation with. There was nothing like talking with him after church Sunday & just diving deeper into the sermon.
Do you have any favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?:	My sin: oh the bliss of this glorious thought; my sin: not in part, but the whole, is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, oh my soul. It is well with my soul. Tread softy because you tread on my dreams. I hear so many Christians murmuring about their imperfections & their failures & their addictions & their shortcomings & I see so little war.... there is a mean, violent streak to the true Christian life... against [my own sin]. -Piper
What type of work do/did you do? How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?:	Spent 6 years in the Army as a Korean Linguist/Intel Analyst. 5 months at Chick-fil-A. Now I'm in school for linguistics & I love it.
Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?:	Use my talents, skills, life experiences to glorify God & save sinners. Fly a fighter jet.
How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?:	Mostly, I read; I like biographies, history, theology/religion, philosophy, some economics & novels. I'd shoot a lot more if ammo wasn't so expensive. I enjoy getting out for a hike or swimming in the ocean/lake/river - but don't tend to do that sort of thing alone. Board games, especially involving strategy.
My ideal place to live is:	In the heart of the city, A farm/cottage in the county, A cabin in the woods, In another county
Where were you born and where have you traveled?:	Born in PA, moved to NC when I was 2, grew up there until I left for the Army. Went all over the US growing up, but spent significant time in CA, HI, TX & Korea in the Army. I've been to Italy, Greece, the Dominican Republic & most recently England & Scotland. In Dallas now.
Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?:	I have a great family that's scattered all over the world.
Activities/Interests:	Airplane Rides, Amusement Parks, Astronomy/Stargazing, Cards, Puzzles, Board Games, Gardening, Hiking, Music, Philosophy, Pool, Reading, SCUBA Diving, Shooting, Rifle, Shooting, Shotgun, Sightseeing, Swimming
