I would like to have children one day, AND/OR would gladly accept others.

I was about 8 when I was first drawn to Christ after going to church on my own. When I was at the age of 7, I was taken two different churches. My mother was Catholic and my father was Pentecostal, which resulted in alot of confusion on the part of myself. I ended up attending church due to a church bus ministry for kids at a local church. I accepted Christ's pulling into my heart. I continued to grow in my walk, but always felt there was something missing in my understanding of Christ.

It was about my senior year of college, I was introduced to Reformed Theology and the precepts of Calvinism. After that point, My growth was exponential (sorry for the math term, I am an engineer). Learning about God's sovereignty in every aspect of my life and in everything has made me more thankful. Also, that my life has one sole purpose, and that it is to give God glory. That purpose has methodically been enveloping my whole life, such as how I deal with people, how I spend my time, and how I work. My walk with Christ these days has been one of awe and need of him to sustain myself and carry me though the course of the rest of my life. I am still growing. I do have my ups and downs in my walk, but I know Christ will not let me out of his hands.

The doctrine of Grace has shown me that Christ is my life vest that will save my life in an ocean of the world. An ocean filled with sin, death, and despair. This vest will never let me go no matter what happens an will keep me alive.

The doctrine of Grace gives me hope and purpose in life. That my life has a reason to exist. That is is to Glorify God an enjoy him forever. This does not mean that live will be easy, but it has direction and hope. It has influenced how I deal with others, view life, and how I work.

I am reading though the book of Proverbs, and also reading The Valley of Vision.

The book of Proverbs has been very valuable in my life in helping me grow in wisdom, in which I really prize.

The Valley of Vision is a Puritan prayer book that I picked up that I have come to really value in my day to day walk with Christ. It helps me refocus myself everyday.

I took a survey of my friends and this is the response on the qualities they attribute to me.

1. Hard Worker

2. Honest

3. Responsible

4. Servant Hearted

1. The relationship I have with God and the mediator that I have to God through Christ.

2. My family and my church family.

3. My career field and the work I do.

I work as a Civilian Electrical Engineer for the United States Army. I have the pleasure of supporting the American warfighter in their job in protecting the United States. I mainly help insure their safety and make certain that they have what they need in regards to equipment.

I have been working for about 4 years and really enjoy my job. My job has many challenges that are always changing. My job has helped me grow as a person in regards of leadership, organization, and confidence in my abilities. That confidence is not in myself, but in what God has provided me in diligence and knowledge. My main focus is giving my job the best I have in order to glorify God in my work. I also see my job as the harvest field in which to tell others about the gospel.

What matters is that you keep you hand on the plow. You don't need to know what God will do through your work. Ecclesiastes 8:17

I desire to be a man that works and keeps what God has given him. A man who works and keeps his relationship with God. I desire to be a man that works and keeps his wife. I desire to be a man who works and keeps his children. A man who works and keeps his church. A man who works and keeps his career.

Work: To labor to make things grow.

Keep: To Keep is to protect and to sustain progress already achieved. Guarding, keeping safe, watching over, caring for, and maintaining.

In my leasure time, I enjoy spending time with my family and my friends. I like to spend time taking my dog on walks. I always like taking drives out on the open highway as well. I usually like to go on some type of adventure with my family or just by myself. I usually go exploring when my work takes me to new areas of the country.

For recreation, I like to go hiking, target shooting, and hunting. I also love to read books on christian living, history, and keeping up to date on current events.
