I love to learn about anything and everything, but particularly science & mathematics. I also love to read about history, languages, and most importantly theology and christianity. I have a great interest in music composition and music theory. I don't play any musical instruments well, but I'm learning both to read music and play the piano. I like to occasionally play video games and watch movies. Normally I don't watch much television, but I do like some documentaries and science fiction series. I love to exercise. I strength train / heavy weightlifting about 5 days a week. I also play volleyball on some Saturdays, depending on the weather and availability of other players. I always attend our monthly church hikes to areas close to Sierra Vista, but I have an interest in more elaborate travel options. I occasionally mountain bike in the early summers. |

| Single- Never Married | |
| I would like to have children one day. | |
I grew up in the church from infancy. Actually, I'm a pastor's kid. My dad was a UMC pastor for over 20 years. I had some trouble in college and stopped attending church from 1996-2001. Through God's miracle of conviction from strangers, friends and family, I was truly drawn to Christ in 2004. |
I used to attend a church that was more driven by emotion rather than God's Word. I would often measure my favor with God through my works; I actually still sruggle occasionally with this performance-based affection. When I started to learn about the Reformation and the nature of the true doctrines of God's Grace, I began to unlearn many bad habits of works-oriented and merit-based faith. I'd say it's been a drastic change for the better, and I'm always grateful that God's not finished with me!! |
I have had my ups and downs with quiet times. I will often throughout the day read the Westminster Confession of Faith and meditate on the Bible verses that support those doctrines. I am constantly praying that the Lord will give me the fervor to study the Word more and more. |
I would say Abraham. I value his conviction and his faith, especially before the Law and the Prophets! I am always in awe about his encounter with God when he was about to sacrifice Isaac. |
This one depends on my mood. I have fought fervently to keep my heart in the "yes" position, but sometimes it does get lonely in this house. I have learned that it is God who is sovereign over all, to include relationships. Resting in that allows me to be content, but I absolutely want to be married and have children. |
I would say that loyalty is a big one. I don't have many friends (close friends) but the ones I do have I cherish greatly. I have been told that I am generous. I don't see it much myself, but if more than a few people have told me, it must be true!! I'm funny. I have sarcasm, I have wit. I have bags of movie lines; I can get pretty creative! I work very hard. I am intrigued by challenge, and I try to give my 100%. |
Hands-down: learning. I love to do research on just about anything. I loved to be intellectually challenged (puzzles etc.). I am an auto didactic; I try to teach myself everything, most times with disastrous results. One thing I've found out is you can't be the BEST at everything. God gives us strengths and weaknesses. Funny, that seems to be the thing I learn the slowest! |

1) I'm thankful for God's amazing sovereign grace and salvation. I'm always encouraged (and awestruck) when I think about what Jesus has done for me. 2) I'm also thankful for my friends and family (church and biological). I have some great brothers and sisters in Christ I can lean on and I am receiving true doctrinal discipleship at my church. Some of my family lives close and I get to spend time with them. 3) Indoor plumbing & sanitation?? (Can't really think of #3 but always glad to be healthy!) |

My best friend Eddie Taylor has been the most influential person in my life. God has divinely appointed our friendship to be sure, and I can't think of anyone else that's challenged me more in my faith or has helped me through more muck (spiritual and emotional). |

Honestly, I must sadly say I haven't really had a real relationship. I've pursued several with intent, but nothing blossomed. Since my post-college days, I've always insisted that a relationship start with the intention of marriage. I think that's a major deterrent especially with younger women. I didn't have much in the way of inspiration or advice from family/friends other than the worldly ideals that seem to permeate American culture. I've been single for many years, but I'm not incapable of having a relationship. |

I have worked for the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command since 2001. I was an intern for about 2.5 years, and became a journeyman engineer. I have done field testing, implementation and project management. As of 2011 I have been an Information Technology Specalist in the same Command. It's much lower stress, and more hands-on. |
My life-long goal is to be absolutely the best Godly father and husband I can be. I know I will fall short; I'm a sinner, but by God's grace & sanctification, He will sustain me in this role to the glory of His name! |
I spend quite a bit of time at home, usually on the computer. I'm kind of a movie/Netflix nut, and I love playing computer games. I'm trying to get out much more during the week, taking walks or running in the evenings, or haning out at my sister's house so I can see my dad and my niece & nephew. On the weekends I love to play volleyball and hike. I have a good friend that likes to go to some of the more touristy places in Southern Arizona. |

I was born in a border town called Calexico California. At quite an early age, we moved to Arizona, and I've been here ever since, all over the state though until settling here. I've traveled mainly for work to several Army bases, and overseas to Kuwait and Germany. I haven't spent much time traveling for pleasure; in fact I've been on only one vacation (Cruise to Jamaica)! I'd definitely would like to travel more for fun, but I think it'd be much more enjoyable with someone to share in the experience. |

I'm the 5th of 6 children in a multiracial, mixed family. I have two older brothers and three sisters. I have family spread all over the country, but mostly in the Southwest. My mother passed away in April of 2010 and my dad lives with my sister who lives in the same town I do. I would love to relocate, but due to the economic stress of homeowning in this locale, I would lose money on my house, a stewardship choice I certainly wouldn't take at this time. |
