I was raised in a Christian home and have known about God and his wonderful works since the beginning of my life. There was no "one day" in which I can pinpoint my believing in Christ. I always loved Bible reading and Bible classes, and now I get to teach Bible to my students which is a blessing! I am always in awe of the grace given to me and I try to share that as much as I can with others.
Everyday, no matter if it is a good or bad one, I know that God sent his one and only son to die for my sins. This is a life altering and day changing understanding which allows me to enjoy every day, no matter what has happened. This doctrine also helped me choose my career path as I became very interested in sharing the good news of Christ and his grace to the next generation.
Quiet times are usually at nights, after all is said and done for the day. It is also in the morning right before school where I have time to collect my thoughts. Right now, I am studying whatever I'm teaching in Bible class. Last year was the book of Kings. This year will be the Gospels.
I don't have just one. However, this year I really enjoyed teaching about David and his life. Psalm 51 remains one of my favourites as it really shows the grace of God towards our sins.
As I get older, the urge to find a Christian partner increases. I do take Paul's words to heart though, to be content in all situations. If it is God's will for me to be single for the rest of my life then I will accept that decision. However, I do pray to him to bless me with a partner and I leave it up to His will to decide if that is to be or not.
My friends would probably say that I am a very compassionate and loyal person who has a great sense of humour and is fun to be around. They would say that I am a very devoted Christian who loves the Lord and tries to live to His glory.
God and the teaching of God's word to young people. I am also very passionate about my teaching career. I love my job very much.

I enjoy people who have a sense of humour and can laugh at themselves and situations. I enjoy people who are kind and caring, people who like to interact with other people. I enjoy people who are interested in talking about their faith.

One of my favourite verses, which has been a large comfort over the past few years, is Psalm 16: 6, "The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance." this verse lets me know that God is in control and that he places boundary lines for our protection and our benefit.
I teach at a private school, mostly intermediate grades. My main focus of teaching is Socials(History) and English, but I teach a Bible class as well. I love teaching Bible. It's like having Bible Study every morning with a group of people, albeit younger people. I love the connections you make in teaching and the difference you make in some student's lives. I thank the Lord for bringing me to this career and I hope to be doing it for a long time still.
My goals aren't life-long, but I would like to be a better teacher. I would also, if God wills, like to be married one day and raise a family of my own.
