I was drawn to Christ when I was young, and I was always the good kid, but not particularly dedicated to living out my faith. In college I first met people my age who were really commited to Christ and I saw what that was like and realzied I was missing that. I'm certainly not perfect but I try to live for Him and set a godly example for my son.

Still learning about them but I love knowing that I was indeed chosen by God and that He is in control of everything.

I try to read my Bible every day. I've been reading through some of the prophets recently.

It's hard to pick a favorite. Today I'll say Esther because she was willing to obey God and stand up for her people despite the danger of doing so.

I never wanted to be divorced in the first place and would love to be remarried. I'm trying hard to be content being single, trusting that God is still in control.

I'm not going to go into much detail but suffice it to say he wasn't the man I had married 11 years earlier. He lost all interest in church and faith and left me and our son to pursue his own "interests". I've been on my own for 8 years and I've learned to do a lot of things for myself. I've also learned to be a more understanding, less selfish person.

For five years I've been the Admisntrative Assistant to the Executive Director of a community mental health agency. It's not where I ever imagined being but I feel God put me there for a reason, although I'm not entirely sure what that is. I find the work interesting most days as I do a lot of State reporting, data collection & tracking, and now I'm part of the team setting up Electronic Health Records.

I was born in Indiana but have lived in New Jersey (South Jersey, rural, near the Delaware Bay) most of my life. I've travelled to most of the US as well as Mexico, Canada, Germany (both East & West when they existed), Denmark, and Sweden.

My 13-year-old son lives with me and my parents live in the same town. My grandma is staying with them right now. I have one brother in OK and aunts, uncles, cousins all over (IN, IL, MN, TN, GA, FL, TX, VA). I personally would have no trouble leaving but due to custody arrangements I can't take my son out of NJ.
