I became a Christian when I was about six or seven years old but I really began to grow as a believer when I was in junior high school when I began to read the Bible on my own. It is a joy to worship Jesus, pray to him and read His Word. |

They have radically changed my life. I first read some books on reformed theology back in 1994 and I've never been the same since. I have read almost everything Iain Murray has written. |
|
Yes. I am reading through the Old Testament right now. I just finished reading the "Puritan Hope" by Iain Murray. Very powerful. The Puritans had a very different outlook regarding missions, revival, and church growth. |

David because he was a man after God's own heart. |

I do feel "complete" being single....but "it is not good for man to be alone." I do desire to get married. |

Integrity, thoughtful, creative, adventurous. |

That people would be genuinely converted. Revival. I can talk for days and days about revival (as it was understood by someone like Edwards or Whitefield). |
|
Being saved. Knowing the truth about God and myself (God's sovereignty, holiness, my depravity and God's solution to my sin: the cross). My Mom and close friends. |
|
To fully answer this question would take volumes of space...but probably one of the most important characteristics that I enjoy the most is someone who is able to articulate and communicate their thoughts. Good communication is vital. Also, someone who has a willingness to live and serve cross culturally. |

Martyn Lloyd-Jones. Iain Murray's biography of Martyn Lloyd-Jones was extremely influential in my life. |

She was a very godly woman. On many, many levels we were so good for each other but the chemistry was absent. |

"The message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Cor. 1:18 |

Recently, I launched a US based non-profit organization dedicated to legally publishing reformed literature in China. Legal Christian publishing has just begun to open up in China and reformed publishers have a wonderful opportunity to enter one of the largest markets in the world. To learn more about us please visit our website: If God should lead you to do so, please consider financially supporting us on a monthly basis. I receive no salary from this non-profit. |

To serve God, I also feel that teaching the subject of revival is a life calling for me. I'm also passionate about translating and publishng reformed literature in the country where I serve. There is a huge hunger for reformed truth/materials but so little exists. |

I was born in New York City and for more than 35 years lived in northern New Jersey. New Jersey will always be home to me. Since the summer of 2006 I have lived in Beijing, China. I absolutely love it. I actually prefer to live there than in the US. I have so many dear wonderful friends in Beijing (both foreigners and Chinese). |
|
About five years ago my parents moved from New Jersey to an assisted living facility in North Carolina. Our family lived in Ridgewood, NJ for 42 years. Needless to say leaving NJ was very difficult for all of us. I have two older sisters. |

One of the things that concerns me greatly is the influence of Fox News on the contemporary church. Iit absolutely amazes me how many within the evangelical and reformed community have been influenced by Fox News and their analysis. The church's infatuation with Fox (Sean Hannity) is an indicaton of the need for repentance and revival within the church. May I recommend a recently published book? "Republocrat" by Carl Trueman (published by P&R) is an outstanding book. Dr. Trueman is a professor of church history at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. His analysis of Fox (advocacy journalism) is outstanding. I wish people here in the US could see how different the US church is from the church in China. Many, many Chinese believers are filled with so much JOY in the midst of some very difficult circumstances. Tthe church in the US tends to be angry at this or that action by the government. The church in China is growing by about 9% a year while the growth of the church in the US remains flat. Honestly, one of the reasons why I love to be in China and fellowship with the Chinese church, is because it is free of political involvement and they are so filled with JOY!! |
