Working with Turkic Muslims in Central Asia. I have been here for the last seven years. I love different cultures and languages... I love seeing how they reflect the glory of Him. I long for the day that these rich elements that were created by Him can be redeemed for His glory.

I was blessed to grow up in a family that not only shared the good news with me, but actually lived it out in their own lives as good news. They set a good example, but it took feeling lost and hopeless in high school for me to actually be aware of my personal need for His grace. For the last 15 years there have been hard time, but by his grace I Stand. Living overseas for seven years has taught me about my personal weakness and His strength. I have nothing to share with my neighbours and friends if I am not in the word my self, clinging to and growing from His revealed truths.

Yes! Quiet time is where I draw my strength to keep going and keep sharing with those around me. I often use something like the Discipleship Journal's Plan for reading through the Word in one year. I love how it divides each days portion, each morning there is an example of faith for those who have gone before -prophets or patriarchs,a section of wisdom lit, a passage from the gospels- ever keeping a picture of J before us, and a section for the letters - helping me know how to live in the time between.

I'm not strict on holding to the one year plan. Sometimes as things come up in my life or that of a friend I gladly focus my attention on areas that speaks to the struggle. Right now in response to some contextulization converstaion I have spent a lot of time pouring over Gal.

Josphe - what man intended as harm, Gd meant for good. He was a man who endured much and came out closer to Him.

perseverance, joy, contentment, sarcastic

Seeing His name made great in places where it is unknown escpeically amoung muslims

Friends- who challenge me and keep me Walking after Him

The NT in Uyghur

I love a person who can make me laugh ( and trust me when i really laugh it is a funny thing to hear - people have offered to call 911 before because I was laughing so hard).

I love someone who is out going and cares about others. I am not the most compassionate person, but friends who challenge me to be are a really blessing in my life.

I work for an M organization in a closed country. I have been here for seven years. Since moving here I have had to learn 2 language, so my first 5 years I was on a student visa. Last year my friend and I opened up our own translation and consultation comapny. I am currently self employed. I don't always love trying to be a business women overseas cutting through red tape in my second and third language, but I do love living here. I love the people that He has given my to serve in His name.

Reading, spending time with friends, uyghur dancing, english TV
