I was 19 when the Lord called me and opened my heart to the gospel. My family and friends were against me becoming a Christian but the Lord helped me through this, faithfully leading me. When I moved to Barcelona, Spain, I got to know the reformed doctrines and my spiritual life was revived and deepened. Today I'm grateful every day for this great joy of knowing Jesus! |

I have learned that God's standard is perfection and that He has not lowered the standard. SO grateful for having the ability through the blood of Christ to grow in holiness. Before I got to know the Doctrines of Grace my Christian walk was pretty undefined, I didn't know what the goal was and didn't know anything about growing in christlikeness. |

Yes, I do. Right now I'm studying a very cool book called "Self-Confrontation". It's a course on Biblical Counseling but it's not that technical, that's why it can be used for quiet time purposes. But normally I just study books of the Bible. |

I am very content being single as I have found in Christ my all in all, my first love. I'm so happy about that! Why am I then on SGS? I love family, homemaking, I simply love the sight of happy, God-glorifying marriages and I would love to be a part of such an adventure. :-) But contentment is the key, I know singles and married peoople alike who are utterly discontent with their situation, thus I do not look for contentment in a far away future but here and now. :-) |

My pastors in Barcelona and my best friend. They have taught me to love and obey God's Word and to not compromise my beliefs. |

For most of my adult life I've been studying law, in Germany, Spain and Holland. In October 2011 I've passed the German bar exam and am now hoping to get a job as a lawyer. It might sound funny but what I enjoy about law is that I know it and that it is something that I can earn a living with. I'm not particularly passionate about practising law as a lawyer nor am I particularly passionate about law itself but I'm very grateful that the Lord has given me a career. But what I'm most passionate about is sharing the gospel with others, that's why my initial love for my career has somewhat faded. |

To grow in Christ-likeness! |

Most of my time is spent with friends and at church or with my family. I LOVE cooking, baking and eating, if possible for and with others, but I also prepare yummy things just for myself. :-) I also love jogging, running and hiking, not only to keep in shape after a 5-course-meal (hehe) but because I enjoy being outside very much. As I don't have a car or a ticket for public transport my bike takes me everywhere I want, bike tours are also some of my favourite pastimes. In winter crocheting keeps me busy, this year I also wanna get better at playing the guitar, taught myself the basics some 5 years ago. I love reading, I'm always daydreaming of one day owning my very own library. :-) As I have friends and family in several countries I love traveling, it's always such an adventure getting to know other countries and cultures! |

I was born in Stuttgart, Germany. My mother always took me and my sister on camping tours to France which we enjoyed very much. My aunt traveled with me to Tunesia and when I was 16 I spent 4 weeks in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Later on I traveled to Hungary, Portugal, Czech Republic, Chile, the UK, Argentina and Dominican Republic. I lived in Spain (Madrid and Barcelona) and Holland (Amsterdam). Barcelona has become home to me, it's a great place with a great church! |

I'm pretty flexible, I know German, English, Spanish, French and Dutch, but I'm most comfortable with speaking English and Spanish. But I LOVE the Carribean, that would be a dream come true. :-) My family, spiritual and physical one, lives in different countries and on different continents, some traveling will always be included. :-) |

I love the idea of homeschooling! I'm ok with different views on minor doctrinal issues but I cannot see myself having my children baptized as infants.
