| I came to Christ as child in Sunday school. In High school and was part of our Scripture Union fellowship. In College, I served with Child Evangelism Fellowship and sung in Church choirs. Later in Graduate school, I played organ for my church, directed children's choirs and served as vice president of the Women Aglow fellowship. My walk with Christ, although long, has not been smooth. I have learned that because I came to know Christ so early there are times, when I get complacent. The Holy Spirit's prompting always gets me back on the right track. Currently I serve God in my Church as the Children's Choir director. I am a Presbyterian (Reformed- PCA) | |
| I rest on the lord for guidance. When I slip, I go the Lord and ask for forgiveness and trust the Lord to forgive me. I like to act on what the bible says to do, and not to react. In the same way that I receive forgiveness from the Lord, I have learned to forgive others when I am hurt. | |

| I enjoy people who are humble, respectful, spiritual-enjoy discussing the word and how it impacts their lives, funny-love to laugh, perceptive, kind and gentle. I think, I am funny and laid back, sometimes shy! I love people so I am a shy people person! | |
| My pastor. When I am stuck, I ask him for his perspective on things. I am certain that he will be truthful with me. | |
| It was so long ago…my friend and I decided that friendship was that best form of relationship for us. I have learned to not shy away from sharing my feelings. I have also learned that it is best to keep the communication lines always open, honest and sincere. Things will not always go the way I want them to go, however, if I trust Christ, I will be calm. For my times are in His hands. -Psa 62:1-2 is appropriate. There are times when I just withdraw for a while to pray and search my soul. | |
| The Lord is my rock... Psalm 18.2 | |
| I am in higher education as a full time faculty member. I love what I do. I keep rather long hours, reading and researching. I love teaching very much. I also love connecting with the arts community in service related opportunities. I share my gifts by directing the children's choir at Church. I am in my dream job. | |
| I would like to grow as a Christian woman each day and keep my faith fresh in this rather complicated world. I would love to be an example of Christian love and grace. It sounds lofty and will be scary at times, but I believe it is possible. With Christ all things are possible. I am learning to lean on Christ, and trust him. My second personal goal is to finish the book I am writing and “Land” a good book contract. And finally, I would love to meet a kind, gentle and respectful Christian man with whom I can begin a loving goal oriented relationship. I am praying about this. | |
| I love to sing and attend concerts, art galleries, museums and the theater. Because I love food, I like to cook. On occasion, I prepare a meal and invite friends over. I sew and enjoy doing crafts. I love to read – I belong to a book club. I love sports too- I play tennis, and would love to learn to golf. That would be fun. | |
