I am grateful to say I cannot remember a day when I didn't know the Lord Jesus Christ as my savior; I grew up in a strong covenant home. Both my father and grandfather were teaching elders who lived out their faith before us in a humble consistency that showed me what it means to walk daily with the Lord.
I am currently using Robert Murray M'Cheyne's bible schedule, but am also studying/ working on memorizing 1 Peter, and Jeremiah Burroughs "The Rare Jewel of Christian Contentment" I have been so blessed to have had parents who were faithful in both family and personal daily worship. I've seen the Lord bless my times of prayer, and look forward to family worship one day with my own family.
Yes and No -- I do see how God has used my years of singlehood for His glory and my good, but I also am firmly convinced He has given me a heart and desire to be a wife and mother. I look forward to seeing the man whom my parents have prayed for since they were dating.... they and many of my close relatives & friends have been so faithful in praying for my future husband. I am eagerly anticipating God's answer to their prayers and mine.
Life... I am unfortunately usually passionate about everything - including toothpaste (I am for it not against it!) Seriously I love the Lord and desire to honor Him with all of my heart, soul, strength and might.
I appreciate maturity, consistency and leadership. A godly man who is faithful in seeking the Lord and who is unafraid to pursue is my prayer. I am talkative, intense, and have many faults, but I love the Lord, love His people and His worship, and enjoy laughing.
I am a nurse practitioner in oncology. I recently finished my Masters degree in Nursing. I've been a cancer nurse for almost 14 years now, both with adults and kids. I love what I do, and feel that God has called me to it as a means of serving Him.
I have several life long goals - ranging from spiritual goals (ongoing scripture memorization) to physical goals (aspirations to one day complete an Ironman triathlon) to purely pragmatic... (ex: organize the garage)
I love reading, working out, water sports of every kind - swimming, white water rafting, boating, horse back riding, etc. I also love having people over, cooking for them and spending time getting to know folks.
I was born in Columbus, MS, but was raised in Charlotte, NC and have lived here my whole life. I've made it up and down the east coast and occasionally out to the west coast with my job but have not yet been out of the states.
I have 5 siblings, all who are married with kids. Both of my parents are still alive - My siblings are scattered through NC, SC, and MS, while my folks are about 20 minutes away from me. I love the South, but am willing to go wherever the Lord leads.
