My biggest interest is in literature. I love reading. I also write stories and small plays. I enjoy cooking, though my food rarely turns out the way I want it to. I love to draw though I'm not very good. I love history and comparing the past with current events. I've also started collecting books.

Single- Never Married
I am a non-smoker
I don't touch the stuff

I would like to have children one day, AND/OR would gladly accept others.

I am reminded of Paul’s words in his epistle to Timothy where he wrote: I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. 2 Tim 1:5
I must have come to faith very early because I can’t really pinpoint the exact time of conversion.
My testimony is that God has dealt wonderfully with me. I have been brought up in a godly home, and all my life I have been associated with godly churches where doctrinal purity and godliness were regarded very highly. When I was 13, I openly declared my faith by being baptised.

I am privileged to enjoy the fellowship of committed Christians in my church, which I love very much.

I was raised in an Arminian church and for a long time was ignorant of the Doctrines of Grace. Then about six years ago, I was introduced to the Doctrines of Grace at my new Church.

I believe, we as people, are dead in our sins, separated from God and deserve to be destroyed by God. But God in His mercy chose me to be saved. He sent Jesus to die in the place of His elect. I did nothing to inherit His grace. I couldn't even resist it. I mean to try and live so that He would be honoured.

The Doctrines of Grace have helped me put my trust more on Jesus' sacrifice than my own abilities, though I still struggle from time to time.

I try to give myself quiet time but often fail. I'm currently going through 1 Kings and I'm about to start on Spurgeon's Practical Wisdom. My friend and I were reading John's gospel together, meeting once a week, but life caught up and so we've put it on hold until November.

My favourite Biblical character would have to be Jonathan, the son of Saul. For one thing Jonathan is a bit of a romantic tragic hero figure; he's the beloved crown prince whose life ends tragically fighting for his country. Secondly, he was simply a wonderful person. He was courageous, honourable and faithful. He was a wonderful leader, son and friend. He risked his life for his best friend and he was willing to follow God's will whatever be the cost. To sum it all up, he exhibited true Christlikeness.

I believe that everyone is given the gift of singleness until God grants them marriage. I am absolutely happy being single. There is so much I do do now without the responsibilites that come with marriage. To be honest, I'm only here because my Mummy insisted.

A wonderful Christian heritage, a great church and whoever invented writing.

Kindness, Gentleness, Patience, Self-control, Integrity, Joy and Wisdom

"Lord, lift me up and let me stand,

By faith on Heaven's table land,

A higher plane than I have found,

Lord, plant my feet on higher ground."

--Johnson Oatman, Jr.

I worked two years part-time at an afterschool care centre. I volunteered four months at a Highschool working with teenagers. I also volunteered at a living museum once, wearing costume and cleaning the historical houses.

I want to be a writer someday and I plan to write stories for Indian children. In India, a lot of our children's literature comes from the west and while I can relate to The Famous Five and the March girls, I feel there are certain issues and experiences specific to Indian children that need to addressed in literature.

I also want to write Christian literature for children. Yes, I have a whole series planned.

I love kids and I hope to raise some God-fearing law abiding children, or be part of the growth of the children of my loved ones.

Whatever may happen, I hope that God will use me to encourage and be a support to others.

In the heart of the city, In the suburbs, In a small town, On the coast, A farm/cottage in the county, A cabin in the woods, Lost in the wilderness, On the move, On a yacht in the Caribbean, In another county, On a space station

I was born in Delhi, lived in Madurai, Chennai and Auckland, been to several places in India and New Zealand. I also visited Japan once and hope to go again, someday.

I live at home with my parents, my younger brother, younger sister, grandad and a cat. We're a Christian home (except the cat).

I'm not too averse to relocating though I'd prefer to stay close to my family, friends and church. But with all the relocating we've done in the last twenty years (2 countries, 4 cities, 11 houses) moving wouldn't be too difficult..

I enjoy a bit of blogging.

I also hang out with the Prolife group at Uni and help out whenever they need an extra pair of hands.
