I believe I was drawn to Christ throughout my childhood as I was raised in a Christian home and attended church with my family. I was age 13 when I made my public profession of faith in a Baptist Church where I had learned much about the life of Christ. I feel my walk is strong but in continual need of growth as I still have much improvement to undergo to live the life God calls me to and follow the examples Jesus set for me in His Word.

The Doctrines of Grace have helped me to better understand that my salvation is nothing I did or deserved and how very special it is. They continue to direct my eyes on God and His ways and remind me that my life is about Him, not me.

Not a regular one I must be honest, but I am working on that. I am reading from James currently in my Bible. I have been slowly reading through From Rebellion to Redemption by Randal Working as a devotional guide and a One Year Bible in which I especially enjoy a daily Psalm.

In the book of James, James as the author writes about joy being the result of life with God and true faith being productive. He is my favorite right character at this time.

Well, I have learned over many years to become content in the Lord and find when I am serving Him I am happiest...I continue though to learn about this and sometimes struggle with it as a single person but I always rest in the fact that I know my life is not really about me. While I have peace in knowing I must live for Him, I do continue to greatly desire to be married and to live for Him with my husband and hopefully a family.

Honest, conscientious, joyful, diligent.

God's creations in nature (the little surprises in the woods in the spring, country scenery, etc.) and serving others in need or making a meaningful difference with my life. And some free time.

God's salvation through grace, my family and church, good health.

Gentle and kind heart, servant minded, honest, light-hearted (can laugh easily at appropriate times), God-fearing leader.

Loving friends who have included me in their family's lives. This is a blessing to me.

They change with time, but currently I like: James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocracy.

I desire to be wise like this and am attracted to men who are growing in this kind of wisdom too.

First I will mention I always desired to be a stay at home mother. That is not the job and blessing God has had in mind for me yet but He has blessed me with with good jobs. I am responsible for workplace safety and making sure different regulations are followed that relate to safety and the environment. I think it is a meaningful job if I must work and has given me the opportunity to work with many different kinds of people and help them achieve their goals. I am always learning andd meeting new people and I really enjoy that part of it. I would happily resign for the right reason but for now it is a blessing for this time.

I would love to be married someday and if we did not adopt other children I would like to bless other children in some way and as a couple lead fellowships or Bible studies or lead mission trips.

I would like a large sunflower field someday too from which I could give away sunflowers all summer long!

Family time (my parents live nearby and so do my siblings), gardening, church ministries, outdoor activities. I recently went kayaking for the first time in Charleston, SC and loved it. I enjoy hiking, cycling, walking, jogging and volleyball.

In the suburbs, In a small town, A farm/cottage in the county, A cabin in the woods

I was born in the closest hospital to where I live now in southwest Virginia. I have lived in Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia. I have travelled with work to many states, Mexico and Poland. I have travelled for fun to Alaska, Bahamas, Colombia and Canada. I have been on mission trips to Brazil, China, Colombia and Mexico.

My parents are alive and live locally. They are approaching 80 and have some health issues. But for God"s best I have been waiting on for many years, I know they would be ok if I needed to move. I would like to be here as they age but I will follow God's direction.

I grew up attending a Baptist church and learned a great deal about Jesus' life/compassion from childhood through college. However, I am now very fond of my ARP church. I am learning more and more about the ARP denomination and its reformed teachings and am grateful God led me to this church. I am very thankful for both my Christian upbringing and the teachings I have received in the past ten or so years about God's grace and His sovereignty.
