Starting at a young age and at different stages in my life I have experienced Christ’s drawing power in different degrees. As I grow older, I realize more and more what Christ has done for sinners like myself. He becomes more precious

It makes me realize that salvation is all Grace, no merit on my part. That God is mindful of me is a mystery. To meditate on this teaches me to be humble and live in entire dependence on Him as He knows all our needs and desires and knows what is best for me.

My quiet time is in the evenings before I retire for the day. I am presently going through “Calvin’s Institutes” and am reading other theological and devotional books along with it.

When I go through difficult trials in my life, I think of Job, who has endured severe trials and suffering without any comfort from his friends. He still placed his trust in the Lord who provided for him. This is humbling and gives great encouragement.

I also think of Joseph for his patience, wisdom, and his integrity for fleeing from temptation.

I have managed quite well being single. However, it would be nice to have a companion to share my life with.

I enjoy mission work. I serve as secretary of the denominational mission board. My burden is that others would be brought to saving faith in the Lord. Since I have spent a quite a few years of my career in the third world, I would also love to be involved in providing mission relief to those who are in need.

Being raised up in Christian home and a solidly Reformed Church Know the Lord and knowing that I can place my trust entirely on Him. Family and Christian friends

My work is related to the rotating equipment (gas and steam turbines, power plant equipment, etc) and consists of managing a small department of engineers, drafters and technologists. I have been employed with the same company for 31 years in various functions. The early part of my career was spent with extensive travel in the third world, particularly the Middle East and Far East involving projects related to rotating equipment.

To become more involved in mission work and relief efforts when I retire.

My summers are spent with sailing, biking, hiking and camping. I enjoy downhill & x-country skiing and curling during the winter. However, I enjoy reading at any time of year.

I was born in Chatham, ON and have traveled extensively, mostly due to my work. As mentioned above, my travels have taken me to the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Libya, Nigeria, to name a few), the Far East (India, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, to name a few), as well as Japan, Philippines, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, some European countries etc.

I am the oldest of six boys. We were raised up by my mother since we lost our father when we were very young. All my brothers are married (with their first wife) and faithfully go to church. They all have children and some have grandchildren. We are a stable and close family and get along well with each other. I don’t mind relocation but prefer to stay in Canada.
