I was raised Reformed Baptist and was nine years old when the Holy Spirit gripped my heart and He has never let go. I have a great zeal to learn more theology and am currently working my way(at a snail's pace) through "The Bible and the Future" by Andrew Hokema, and Meredeth Kline's "A Kingdom Prologue" |

Man, I am Romans 7. I am such a miserable sinner, but God's awesome grace is so abundant in my life and every day I delight in the knowledge that I am a beautiful, cherished daughter of my Father in Heaven. |
I already mentioned a few books I am studying. As you can see, I am trying to define my eschatalogical views more distinctly. I'm also just starting D.A Carsons book on his perspective of the Sabbath. Yes, I know, I am a huge theology junkie ( or geek-depending on who you talk to.) I am also trying to read a Spurgeon sermon every day--I splurged and bought his complete sermon collection, I am amazed at at his incredible gift! |
Well, now see, I keep jumping the gun. I already answered that one too. Definitely Paul, for reasons I already listed. |
Well, I guess the safe answer is that I am content to be where God wants me. Truth be told--i am not always as successful at that as I want to be. I am content in the knowledge that He has a perfect plan for me....umm but I would LIKE that plan to include a husband and family. |

funny, compassionate, loyal,honest |
I work in healthcare/nursing and I am very passionate about helping others--man, this makes me sound like snow white. I am passionate about life in general. I have battled cancer in the past (completely cured,) and that really puts alot of things in perspective. I am also passionate about fudge covered oreos--c'mon give a girl a break! And caffeine.....nothing like an ice cold diet dr.pepper to get ya going in the morning! |
Obviously I am thankful that I am one of God's chosen children. I am thankful that He has given us friends and people to love here on earth. I am also thankful for laughter- It would be a dark world to live in if there was no laughter. Besides I like to laugh at myself--let's face it sometimes we can act pretty dumb, and instead of crying about it, I would rather laugh. Oh , and did I mention fudge covered oreos yet??? |
I like someone who is funny, and trustworthy and honest. I like someone who is goal oriented, and driven to do the best in whatever field God has called him to. First and foremost though, I want someone who can be my spiritual head and who puts God first. |

Do they have to be living? If not, then I would have to say the apostle Paul. It seems like anytime I read anything he wrote, I am constantly saying"Oh my gosh ,that is me."(even the not so good stuff.) But his testimony through all his trials have inspired me to overcome any difficulties that I am struggling with |
My last relationship was with a very wonderfull Godly man. Though tough as it is--sometimes even though you share the same convictions and beliefs it really becomes evident through circumstances that God isn't leading you towards marriage. I have nothing but respect and care for the man, and I still count him as a good friend. But it is wrong to prolong a relationship that isn't heading the way one feels like God has designed for them. |

Just about any Monty Python line you can think of makes me laugh--"I'm not dead yet.." My favorite hymn by far is "And Can it Be." The whole song moves me to tears every time I hear it."It is Well With My Soul runs a close second. Bunyan's Pilgrims Progress changed my life, and the Psalms, the Psalms, the Psalms--I cling to them daily. |

UPDATE: i have just recently started a catering company with a friend of mine --hahha i know its quite a leap. I am loving it and we are starting to really take off. It is amazing how God orchestrated our lives and when He closes doors He is faithfull to open up new and exciting ones! I am terribly excited at these new challenges and God has really blessed our efforts! Update #2-- lol Im some what of a jack of all trades. Stil doing healthcare and catering, but I have also gone back to school for biological research--id like to dispell the myth that a blond can't be a scientist lol. I love being busy and am apparently a fan of school/permanent student. I feel like I need to utilize my talents until God brings that special person into my life. Of course my ultimate goals are wife and mother. BUT, untill then, Im gonna keep learning about things I find interesting. All these paths in my life are meant to make me an effective mate and mother if God so chooses. I can cook and do a great job bandaging wounds and figuring out why people are sick lol. My emphasis in my research is brain injuries and autism--a growing concern today. This is why I haven't been a constant here on SGS. Free time is difficult sometimes, but I am certainly capable of having that time and enjoy it. |

I want to be married and have children. I have gotten to accomplish a great deal already in my life, and I just look forward to growing old with someone, and Lord willing having kids |

I like to read, and watch movies. I like to work out, lift weights and do bikram yoga(it's a great workout.) I like to go see theatre and live music.I'm a girlie girl who has some tomboyish tendencies. Im not great at sports but I love to watch and play them anyway. I am a huge NBA fan--GO SPURS!!! Have found new love of boxing--its very cathartic and its a great workout. Im gonna try zip lining next month and can't wait! Also having to take ballet for a p.e. credit---yeah...ummm not so fun, but decent workout. My teacher doesn't like the element of silliness I like to bring to ballet--In my thirties, it seems ridiculous to want to be a prima ballerina lol |
i was born in North Carolina and got to Texas as soon as I could ;-). Lived here most of my life but have been blessed to have traveled all over including Europe, Central/South America, Korea, Thailand, and others--i love to travel! |
All my family lives here in town, but I am willing to relocate if that is what the Lord has for me. My career is very easily moved. I feel very strongly that as a submisssive future wife, no demands should be made that the man you are with should move to be with you, unless of course he wants to and his job moved him here. I have moved alot in my life and that never scares me. I make friends easily and love experiencing new things. I think its neat to get to meet a man in his own element and get to know his friends/family. If you are to be married they become part of you too. |

ok so i think the check list of activities given was hysterical!! ummm well, yes, i guess I am interested in survival.... guess i shoulda checked that one |
well let's see...i don't think it asked us our blood type or if we prefer paper or plastic...course those are awfully personal questions and I am not ready to be THAT open...just kidding. Heads up ya'll---I am a TERRIBLE typist! I am not as dumb as I appear---uuuh well, I am blond too....so maybe I am...yeesh! Guess there is no hope for me ;-) Let's see, Im also big into organic cooking and eating cleanly. I hate the term rubenesque--that usually connotates heavy. I am not overweight., I am curvy--big difference. There is no androgeny to my body shape. If you appreciate a Christina Hendricks look--that is what I am describing |
