| I was raised in a Christian home but sent to a public school and the result was a very weak walk with the Lord. Aged 26 i was graciously brought back to Him and began to increase my knowledge of the character of the God i love and serve. These days i am as strong in my faith as i have ever been. God has seen me through times of grief and loneliness aswell as being a constant provider and comfort to me. | |
| I am not entirely sure what this question is getting at! Although i do believe that there is a desperate need for the doctrines to be better understood in many of todays churches and certainly preached on more, for me (and of course the same goes for all saved by grace) the 'doctrines' themselves have not affected my life so much as grace itself. And how Jesus changes the heart of a sinner into one which is tender towards Himself is by definition a miracle and one which no human can fully explain. From the moment of conversion we are then led by the Lord to learn more about Himself and the wonders of His love and over time we are refined and brought more and more into obedience through love, only because He first loved us. I wonder sometimes if we place too much value on the work of men, albeit Godly men, when in reality many are saved with no intellectual knowledge of these doctrines but are none the less living by them! I hope you don't misunderstand me on this because certainly we must progress from milk to eat if we are to be of service to his Kingdom here on earth. | |
| I am working through Henry Morris's genesis record. This is a great great book. I follow the TBS daily reading scheme for Bible reading and i am currently spending alot of time researching and reading about home education, to help me write a book specifically for the UK. | |
| I honestly could not pick one out. The ones i am presently reading about can often become my favourites at that moment but each has so much to teach us. | |
| Sometimes i am, sometimes i am not! I long for more children, and i long for a companion to support and be supported by. Raising a child alone is not what God intended and although He supports and provides or me, i would like a man to join us and become the head of my little unit. Contentment is not equated to a lack of desire to find a mate! ;-) | |
| I'll ask them and get back to you (assuming i like theri answers LOL) | |
| The Truth! I have a burden on my heart relating to home education (well more about public schools and how satan has fooled so many Christian parents.)But my passion as a whole is to see my own life grow more and more in obedience to Him, through a deeper love and to see the UK return to God. | |

| I am honest and very passionate about my faith and perhaps some would say a little too passionate. I can get rather deep in conversation and am learning with Gods help to speak more gently (i have a tendency to get louder through passion and this has been misunderstood as aggression in the past, so i am very aware of this now.)I grow weary at times at the disobedience of so many Christians here in the UK and long for a time of revival but i feel sure God has handed us over to our own disobedience and persecution will come before changes are seen. The chaff and the wheat will be rapidly seperated at this time! As far as what i enjoy in others goes! I really don't think i could specify. I am always suprised by people and often find myself enjoying the company of people very unlike what i may have considered as such. So ultimately if he loves the Lord and can make me laugh its a good start! :-) I do not compromise on the truth and will stand alone in order to be obedient to God, if required. However, if that makes me sound scary! I am not. I am very compassionate, very patient and generous hearted and have a tender consciences which keeps me humble before the Lord. | |
| My husband, who loved me just as i am, faults and all! He taught me how to be a better person and a better wife, so hubby number two will get a better deal than he! | |
| (My husband died of leukaemia in august 2005) Adam and I are now married! Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise. There is much in terms of practical details that now need to be done, but we rest in the Lord in all these things knowing that wherever He leads us we will surely follow. Exciting times ahead. To have been blessed with one wonderful husband was beyond expectations but to now have been blessed again with such a man as Adam is indeed a more excellent thing. I am in the USA now but at some point will have to return to the UK to await the visa application. A day at a time! Grace sufficient for the day. :-) WE ARE NOW EXPECTING A BABY GIRL. DUE IN FEBRUARY. CAN'T WAIT. MARRIAGE GETS BETTER EACH AND EVERY DAY. THE LORD IS DOING A MARVELLOUS WORK IN OUR FAMILY. :-) | |
| Nearer my God to Thee by sarah flower adams I love to sing all the Psalms and my favourites change all the time | |
| I was a nurse for 15 yrs. I specialised in Haematology/oncology Now i am a full time mum and trying to find a way to make money and stay at home! Any ideas anybody???? | |
| 'Do not boast about tommorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth' Proverbs 27 v 1 (I just set this verse to music today so its on my mind! ;-) In human terms i would love to have a quiver full of children, a husband (before the quiver full obviously) to love and be loved by, and together as a family, serve the Lord. And to be able to do 10 press ups on the trot would be good too! ;-) | |
| Walking and cycling although i can't do the English hills with my daughter on the back! She is getting heavy. I feel like Christian in Pilgrims progress! But all good exercise. I read alot too Teaching my little lamb is my main daily delight. I love to travel and would do much more if time and money allowed. So much to see. Just imagine when we are in our resurrection bodies, we will be able to zap ourselves to whatever beautiful destination we desire to take in all of Gods glory. And the climate will be perfect everywhere! | |
| Born in the UK. Travelled to India/Spain/Italy/Belgium/Canary Islands/USA/Costa Rica/greek island zante | |
| I would be happy to relocate. I know there is no perfect country but right now the UK is getting worse by the day, and i fear Christians are going to lose many more freedoms quickly. In particualr i fear home education will soon be tightly monitored or made illegal as in Germany. I need to be ready to up and leave if the situation makes it so. | |
| Walking/cycling/anything outdoors! Reading and reading some more. Classical and Christian music. eeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrm there must be more to me! LOL |
