I was about 13 when I became a Christian. I was raised in a nominal Christian home, and never new about reformed theology but all along God was leading me to Himself by showing me the doctrines of grace through scripture. Finally in the last 6 months, I have really come to understand TULIP through the DVD series by John Piper. I have some generational sins that I have struggled with for some time, but God put a solid Christian mentor and friend in my life and I have lately been slowly finding victory over these battles. I have been consistent in reading scriptures through an online "read through the bible in a year website" and at the end of 2011 will have completely read though the bible! I still need to work on my prayer life but feel confident that God will give me the strength to Grow into the faithfulness that He has called me too.

I feel like the doctrines of grace have brought order and spiritual formation out of what was once chaos of not knowing what I believed.

I am currently doing a "read the bible in a year plan" on this website and I highly recommend it!

I have a hard time saying yes to this question because I definitely desire to marry and have children, but I want to believe that I am content in whatever God has for my life and I don't worry about what the future holds.

My faith and giving God His glory though my faith and submission to Him is what I am most passionate about. John Piper is my favorite speaker and his motto is "God is most glorified in us, when we are most satisfied in Him." I want to daily strive to be more like Christ with my life and base every decision I make on two things, "Do I love God and my neighbor through this decision?" from the big decisions all the way down to the decision about what to eat for dinner.

Jesus Christ, my faith in Him, and my life to be able to sacrifice it to Him.

I would love to find someone with a great sense of humor, because I love to laugh. Faithfulness is another big one because with the divorce rate so high, it's almost scary to commit yourself to someone not knowing if they are going to stay committed to you. Knowing that Christ will never divorce me under any circumstances gives me the strength to forgive and stay faithful to anyone and everyone. Also I would love to just meet the person, if God wills it, that He has made for me, because He knows me better than I do.

Whom have I in Heaven but You? And there is nothing on Earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. Psalm 73:25&26
