I had finished my first year of college when I realized how much I needed Christ, at 19. These days my christian walk is much more exciting when I am in relationship with non-believers and praying for them. It sometimes takes work to leave my church friends to do that.
I had no idea how big, wise, powerful and present my God is until I got into a church that teaches reformed theology well. His awesome character has captured my heart to worship and know Him. I am thankful that God shows me not only himself but also my sin. Yep, I'm desperate for Christ... lost without Him.
I like to spend time alone with the Lord every morning. I usually am involved in interesting Bible study topics, sermon notes, books I want to review, prayer requests or prayer letters. Currently I am reading Ezekiel and Thessalonians, great stuff on discerning truth vs. error.
I like Joshua because of his firm faith in God during times of doubt and transition in his country, and for his obedience. Every time I read about the crossing of the Jordan and taking the land I get stoked.
Enjoying the married life now!

I started a business in 2000; it requires lots of energy and will power to make it grow. I enjoy what I do and like being the one responsible for success and failure. I'm also passionate about growing spiritually and being a man dependant on God so that others will see that it is God at work through me.
* being called by Christ to follow him * the blessing of a good family upbringing * having accomplished some of my life goals
Love and respect are vital to a healthy relationship and godly character is what enables trust. I am looking for a woman whose speech and actions show that she loves God and people, she enjoys her life and has integrity, she is independant (wants me but she doesn't need me) and has an infectious love of life. I like adventure and freedom to try new things. At times I am direct with people, I only want what is best for both. I have a dry wit, more thinker than feeler, more sensory than intuitive and I stay active. I still sin but thankful that God shows me my faults and brings me back to himself.
I have older siblings who both influenced my spiritual rebirth and early development as a believer, but I have been influenced by my college buddies who I lived with for 3 years, great friends, great times, too short!
I ended the relationship with her when I learned from other credible sources that she was not doing what she told me she was doing. Dishonesty was the main reason for the relationship ending. I have learned that finding the best requires patience, listening carefully and some pain. Is it worth the wait and pain? God's will and timing is always worth it.
His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3 "And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our FREEDOM!" I began an Internet marketing company in 2000 to help small companies do business online. Typically I work with businesses who have a great website and yet they don't receive quality traffic consistently or they don't get good online exposure. I really enjoy my work and get a kick out of seeing it grow!
Starting my own business, doing missions and becoming a homeowner are some of my life goals that have been achieved! I'm looking forward to visiting yellowstone and glacier national parks, understanding the female species, finding a life partner (wife) and having a fab family, retire and live off wise investments, and always find creative ways to enjoy life!
I like hiking in the mountains, playing golf, traveling, going to the beach, white water rafting and other outdoor recreation. I also enjoy dating, dining at nice restaurants, dancing, listening to smooth jazz and touring the city.
I am the youngest of three. We all get together at T-giving or Christmas each year. I'm ok with relocating if it makes sense; it would have to be a very compelling reason.
One cannot love unless he has experienced love - real love, the love of God. Unless he has an emotional love relationship with God, he has not experienced love before and so he does not know what love is or even how to love. For guys, experiencing God's love and becoming a man only comes through a process of initiation by God. John Eldredge calls it the Father's voice in Wild At Heart and goes into detail about it. Here's his brief description of it, "You have to know where you've come from; you have to have faced a series of trials that test you; you have to have taken a journey; and you have to have faced your enemy." So, thats the quick version of boyhood to manhood transformation. I'm curious, what kind of tests does a girl go through to become a woman? Or is it something else?
