The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful, loving, christian family. I professed my faith in Christ when I was nine years old, however, I didn't reflect more deeply on the things of my Lord until later in life. The Lord is continuously refining me for His purposes and plans. I enjoy, very much, getting together with others with the same desire to study, discuss and reflect on the Word of God. |

I am so thankful that my Lord chose me before the foundations of the world that He created; that HE pursued me and drew me to Himself even though I am the lowest of sinners. I am so thankful that He, despite my sin and failures in life in the past, the present, and future, will not let me go even for a nanosecond. This knowledge has given me purpose, hope, and joy! |

Quiet time comes in many different forms in my life. I enjoy the renewing of my spirit with the reading of the Word, and with various biblical studies. I don't read nearly as much as I should, or would like to for that matter! The "Valley of Vision" is a compilation of puritan prayers which I love to read and meditate on from time to time. |

King David. Despite his failures and his struggles with sin throughout his life, he was used by God in many mighty and wonderful ways. |

For the most part I am content as a single Christian and accept this as God's loving providence for me today. However, if God so wills, I desire and hope to be married to a committed God-fearing man. The Lord is teaching me during this time of His providence to rely solely upon Him and trust Him with the whole of my life. |

Words I have heard from my friend's lips are... Integrity, Sense of Humor, Loyal/faithful, Kind |

Making my chief end and purpose in life to glorify and enjoy God forever. Making even a small difference in the lives of others each day. |

That God has made me His. My wonderful and loving family, and for the health God has given me to enjoy life and His creation. |

Every person has his strengths and weaknesses and we need each other's gifts of character as we move through life. I do appreciate and enjoy in another person the desire to grow in Godliness. I value humility, honesty, kindness; a willingness to communicate, yes, even through the tough situations of life. I'm drawn to someone who is fun-loving and has a sense of humor. Mine? Most of the above are kind of basic as to how I would like to be. I do love to laugh, be relaxed with friends;I can be serious, too. I am game for trying most anything...(that is, If it is honorable!) I try to be an encourager; can be a bit of a risk-taker, low maintenance and hard-worker. |

My grandparents were very influential people in my life. They were Godly, people-loving, prayer warriors. They ministered faithfully to others until they were called to the Lord. |
|
I have been on my own for eight years. I would prefer to discuss my former relationship in a more private setting. There must be genuine faith, a unity of vision for the marriage, and a common theological belief system for real communion. |

"Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus" (Hymn) "To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you." C.S. Lewis "Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible." Corrie Ten Boom "I have held many things in my hands, and have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess." Martin Luther "The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord are honor and life." Proverbs 22:4 |

I have worked in the medical field for the past 20 years as a phlebotomist and for the past three years as a nurse. |

To glorify God and to enjoy Him for the rest of my life. I would love to finish school (in progress) and work in some type of mission work part time/ full-time. |

I haven't had too much of that, but whenever I can, I love to hike and camp. I like bicycling, running (although been out rehabing a knee injury), and working out. And I really enjoy quiet time and playing the piano at home. Spending time visiting with family and friends is also high on my list of things to do. |

Born in Seattle and lived in Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Pennsylvania. Also, as a child, traveled through most of the states between the West coast and East coast. Canada is about as far out of the states as I have been. |

My family is a very important part of my life. They live a number of miles from me, all over the Northwest. I have extended family in many areas of the US. I do love the NW, however, if relocation is part of following the leading of my Lord, then I will gladly embrace it. The Lord's plan is perfect and I desire to do His will more than anything else. |
