I love hiking, working out, running, playing tennis...I'm happiest being outdoors and active. I also play guitar, piano, enjoy interior decorating, planting things, having people over, visiting family, etc.

not sure what is supposed to go here...but I'm filling it in...to see if my profile will be accepted...

I was about 6 yrs old when I came to Christ. My Christian walk is solid...I have never walked away from God or "rebelled"... but I have had my share of struggles.

They humble me as I realize that my salvation is not of my own doing nor was it something I initated--it is all God's work.

I'm a calvinist baptist... premil... I love listening to John MacArthur, John Piper, Al Mohler, James White.

I'm NOT into wacky stuff ...like... not lifting a finger on Sundays, singing only hymns, or believing that bands and drums are evil and shouldn't be in church, or that woman shouldn't work outside of the home. (That said, I want to raise my own kids.) I like contemporary worship...enjoy many styles of music, secular and Christian... I also enjoy hymns. I attend a mennonite brethren church...so their worship is contemporary...but their teaching is solid. (The pastor is calvinistic)

Yes, doctrine matters, but a lot of reformed people take things too far and establish other rules and ideas that are nonbiblical, ie. like that piano and organ are the only instruments that should be used in church... or still hold OT laws about the Sabbath, and hold to replacement theology. Then they demand their future spouse to conform to them on these ideas. That's NOT me.

I want to meet a gracious guy who knows how to have fun and be adventurous, and who also holds to sovereign grace truths. There has to be a balance... between the heart and head. Too much head and no heart leaves you with a cold faith... too much heart and no head leaves you with empty enthusiasm.

I have been reading through the Proverbs. My quiet time has suffered of late with my crazy schedule...but I pray continually, listen to good teaching on a daily basis, and have fellowship with fellow believers.

I don't have the gift of singlness I know that... God has brought me through thus far though... and I have managed as single with God's help...but I'd really like to find my best friend to share the rest of my life with. So no...I'm not entirely content being single.

Open about convictions, passionate, spontaneous, adventurous

It's hard to just pick one thing... but hiking, traveling to new places, and playing piano top the list.

Family, health, my new car :)

I need a man who is adventurous, fun to be with, has a great sense of humour, non-uptight but with strong convictions, loving, loyal to death, intelligent, inquisitive, good listener, hard worker, and forgives easily.

Most of the time we weren't compatable based on our personalities...and beliefs (ie. they were charismatic)

Hiking the mountains around here--running and working out regularly..getting together with friends...reading..... etc

On the coast
