17 After the death of both my parents. Went through bible college and seminary and once ordained in the RPCGA but have since moved on in my career as a power engineer. My relationship with the Lord is the most important thing. I would choose to remain single then be with someone who doesn't put the lord first. |

Knowing that God is sovereign and that my life is in His hands has made all the difference. One of the first books i read as a Christian was Loraine Boettner's 'Reformed doctrine of Predestination.' It brought comfort knowing all that had happened to me up to that point was in God's hands. This still is the greatest comfort. Have grown to appreciate Calvin's Institutes and commentaries, as well as John Murray and many others. Murray had a son after the age of 60. This is an encouragement to someone who is approaching 50! I have been blessed by being in both dutch and scottish traditions of the reformed faith. I believe strongly in the biblical teaching on covenant. I also believe that the greatest need in the church today is Christian Ed. from a biblical worldview that incorporates all of life. In other words, being reformed is far more than just the TULIP for me-it forms the presuppositions of a truely Christian view of man and things. Oh yes, I am a big fan of Gordon Clark, Van til is not bad either. |

I should work on this more. I do follow a devotional from UCB Canada but otherwise read scripture directly and the Westminster catechism. |

Joseph. He was forgotten and misunderstood, but not by the Lord. God was with him and rewarded him for his faithfulness and used him mightily. |

Yes. I think I have learned to be content whatever my circumstances. However, if I found someone who drew me closer to God and not farther away, then it would be nice not to be walking alone (humanly speaking). For me a Christian marriage should be one times one equals one, not one half plus one half. In other words we are made complete in Christ. One's spouse must come second. |

Kind, considerate, diplomatic, determined. |

Besides my relationship with the Lord, being the best I can be at what I do. |

God and salvation. Health. A career I enjoy. |

Integrity, honesty, and loyalty. |

My older sister. She took me in when I was 16 and my mother died. She is a Christian and God used her in my life and still does. |
|
Lack of trust. |

Forgetting what is behind I press on...I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. |

I have been a power engineer for some 20 years. I have moved a lot in recent years to upgrade my qualifications and experience. I now occupy a supervisory position. However, the constant moving has taken a toll and I would like to settle down. |

Lord willing-be married with a family. Get my commercial pilot's license and have my own plane. Possibly move into some kind of "ministry". |
|
TV. Motorcycle. Learning to fly. Working out. Swimming. |
|
Relocating would be limited to where my career would allow. |
