You can edit or Recall a message you sent if you forgot something, made a mistake, want to correct something, etc. but only if the person you sent it to has not opened it yet.

If you are not already in the email section then go to My Profile scroll down to My Email and click. From there you will be at your My Email page and your Inbox will be open. On it's menu bar is Outbox this is the sent mail folder.

Once you click on Outbox you will go to the mail you sent. You will notice that next to the profile picture is a little envelope icon. If the email has been read its triangular "flap" will be up, or open, and this means the person you sent it to has read it. If it is not opened and looks rectangular then the mail has not been read.

To edit it click on the message as if you are going to read it. You will go to a page where you see the message. Scroll down to the bottom and right above settings is the word recall. Click on that and you will get to the message box (looks just like the message box you wrote the message in). Edit it and click send.

If you did not want to edit it but delete it altogether then go back to the Outbox and look at the list of emails. On the right hand side of the window is a set of three envelope icons. The bottom one has a red "x" on it. Click this to delete the email.

Emails that you have edited since you originally sent (or deleted) them can't be read on SGS again in their original form (which they had before they were edited), but if the person you wrote to has "email notification" set up to send a message to their internet email address they will still be able to read your original message even if you have edited it, so let what you write always reflect good judgment. The edited form of the message is what they will find in their inbox on SGS.
