Hello Again SGS Members, There are some continued good things on the horizon for SGS and I thought I'd share them with you. Before I begin, I'd like to extend a Heartfelt "WELCOME" to New Members of SGS!! Thanks for being with me on the Ground Floor of SGS and being a part of the steady growth and spreading the word by mouth as many of you have done with great results!! We are getting more and more members from various parts of the world too! REMINDER: Members of SGS who have not logged-on in over 60 days will be deleted. This is intended to keep the integrity of SGS. Most similar sites keep all who have ever created a Profile regardless of the fact most have not been active in a long time. I want SGS to be different and it will be. Within a few days after this Newsletter is sent, I will start deleted those Member's Profiles. Speaking of "various parts of the world", I just received an email announcing ONE of several engagements I've heard have happened since SGS's "launch" last January 19th. This couple are Europeans and are getting married in Germany in December! While this is NOT the primary focus I intended for SGS, it is delightful to hear and I'm sure all of us rejoice with these members as God's Good Providence (is there any other kind lol), has chosen SGS as the means by which He has accomplished His Goals. Events- I mentioned in a previous Newsletter my desire to have a Reformation Lands Intensive Study sponsored by Sovereign Grace Singles. It would include a Cruise through Reformation Europe in a Cruise Ship. Excursions would be taken from the ship. This would provide the GREAT convenience of not having to schlep one's luggage on and off buses and into hotels, etc., every night and day. One would sleep in the same place every night and enjoy the excellent food that a Cruise provides as well as the entertainment and simple conveniences. That is something I'm working on for in the future. For now, this is what SGS is doing: Those of you who went on the SAG Alaska Cruise with Alpha and Omega Ministries and Sovereign Cruises remember Sovereign Cruises' Owner, Michael O'Fallon. So, you see, we've got some great things planned for Sovereign Grace Singles members. Another Activity I'm working on is a SGS Fly-fishing Retreat! I have a Reformed friend who owns a "cabin" in Montana and he has allowed me to use it for a week in August. This would be open to anyone, beginner or experience fly-fisherman/woman. Education for beginners would be provided. I'm working on the details but, as many of you know, Montana has some of the best fly-fishing in the world. Think about it! Colorado is a possibility too. As you may remember in a previous Newsletter, I own a Trendwest Timeshare which I got especially for SGS. Check it out and plan an Event! Let me know what you come up with and the dates and I'll get the Resort!! Reminder! Please check "Events" on SGS, ok Lot's of good stuff there! Moving on..... New Features on SGS: Blog- On SGS's Home Page will be an Feature which will soon allow both SGS Members and non-Members to create a Blog for themselves. There will be some Tutorial assistance provided for those who might need it as I do! Your Blog, if you wish to have one, will be able to interact with all of the Blogs on the Net. For those of you have a Blog or who like to read Blogs, here is an excellent site of Reformed Bloggers named "Jolly Blogger": The SGS Blog capability is created not only for obvious reasons, but will also be a means by which SGS can be promoted at no expense to Members or SGS and thereby all SGS Members will benefit. For those of you who wish to Blog or who already do, here is an excellent article: "How to be a Popular Blogger" Radio Ads for SGS- As some of you may know, on Monday of last week, SGS began advertising on Seattle's KGNW (www.KGNW.com) Radio Station. They have many Reformed programs such as Alister Begg, Al Mohler, John MacArthur, D. James Kennedy and J. Vernon McGee. SGS is being promoted on Alister Begg's Broadcast, Truth for Life (http://www.truthforlife.org). Sixty second commercials are being broadcast during the morning commute "slot" and will run from 8:00-8:30 am. I've signed a Year Contract and we are already seeing increased "hits". On SGS's Home Page there is already a "Spread the Word" button and these Radio Ads will be placed there. This is feature which will allow Members to listen to these and, if one wishes, to download them and send them to others. As SGS grows and as funds allow, I have plans on advertising in other parts of the US and Canada maybe even other parts of the world one day. The owner of KGNW, Salem Communications, has 105 Stations in the United States. Hopefully, the news of these Ads will be spread by word of mouth from listeners in the Seattle, WA area. Newsletter Archive- The Archive of Newsletters is now on the "menu" on the left side of the Home Page. I thought new Members might appreciate the history and progress of SGS. Sermons for Singles- As some of you know, this was added a couple of months ago. I thought it might be a source of some good listening while on SGS or other websites, etc. If you haven't already, you may have to download "RealAudio" to listen to some of them. SGS Promotion- If you would like to spread the word re SGS, this button is a means by which you can do so. It not only gives the SGS Banners but also the "code" for those of you who are computer programming savvy. The Banners can be "copy and pasted" to whomever you think might be interested and thereby provide the link as well as a colorful Banner.  Lastly- Have you checked out the SGS Bookstore I think you'll find the prices to be the cheapest around. If not, let me know! I'll make it happen!  Thanks for reading! Soli Deo Gloria....
