Well, I suppose theology would be one. History, philosophy, political theory, and economics are close seconds. My favorite authors would be R. Scott Clark, Michael Horton, R.C. Sproul, Thomas Sowell, Mark Steyn, Jonah Goldberg, and John Swartzwelder. I like to put on my iPod and get outside to walk or run or workout in the gym. I like to toss a frisbee, throw a football, fish, scallop, shoot skeet, hike, travel, eat good food, enjoy fine art, go to concerts, or just cook-out with close friends and chat all night about everything from politics to pop culture.

I grew up in a mainline Presbyterian church, and I have often struggled with assurance. I attribute this to growing up in a town and a country really that places great emphasis on dramatic experiences as the truest evidences of genuine conversion. Several years ago, I began to drink deep of Confessionally Reformed theology, piety, and practice; my convictions slowly began to change. I came to realize that the weakest faith still clings to the strongest Savior. It was like a burden was lifted from my shoulders. So while I still struggle at times, I find that attending to the ordinary means of grace (Word and Sacrament) benefits my soul and builds my faith far greater than personal quiet times and intensive self-examination. I need to be drawn out of my sinful self to behold Christ and His Cross and His Gospel with His Church on a weekly basis.

See above.

I am currently studying Berkhof's Summary of Christian Doctrine. I recently finished R. Scott Clark's Recovering the Reformed Confession: a must read for all those who now bare the title of "reformed." It challenged my thinking and cleared up many long-standing misunderstandings. Before that, I read Christless Christianity by Michael Horton. It was a clarion call to the church in America to trade in our "moralistic, therapeutic deism" for a Biblical faith centered on Jesus as He is presented in The Word and through The Sacraments. It articulated much of the confusion I had concerning the faith I professed; it is a breath of fresh air for a Christian like me who desires a true communion with God and my fellow believers. Of course, I make sure to spend sufficient time feeding off of God's Living Word.
Peter: like me, he's a born leader, but he's also a bull-headed screw-up who talks a big talk only to back down when things get serious. He's such a human figure whose frailty mirrors my own. If he can go on to help establish the church, I can certainly be confident that God will save me.

I find a mature, intelligent woman very appealling. I like a woman who appreciates the older things in life: art, history, culture, music, nature, et al. I am attracted to a women who has a great sense of style and class while remaining modest. I need an active women who can get outside, enjoy the outdoors, play sports, etc. Physical beauty does come into play. I want a woman who takes God, and not herself, seriously. I need someone who likes kids. I have eight little cousins who keep me on my toes.
I recently graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. I double majored in accounting and business administration. I double minored in economics and finance. I start my MBA in the fall at UNF in Jacksonville, FL.
