I really enjoy a good sense of humor. I tend to find a dry, quiet form of wit the funniest. I like people who think a lot and analyze, but I also enjoy an out-going, friendly personality. As for character, I appreciate dedicated, hard-working people who are kind and patient. Since I fail more often than not in these areas, I'm not expecting perfection...

I am friendly, but shy. I think a lot and am very analytical. I love to laugh, but I usually do it quietly to myself unless I'm with people I'm completely comfortable with.

I read a lot, I write a fair amount, I like to listen to music, I sing and play the piano, I enjoy movies and I like TV crime shows such as The Mentalist, Law and Order, Criminal Minds, etc. I also love The Office. I enjoy taking walks, but I like to go slow and enjoy nature more than the walking. I love spending time in the woods. I love bookstores, especially used bookstores. I could spend hours quite happily in a bookstore, just looking at books. I like miniature golfing and bowling with my family and friends. I like the zoo a lot.

I'm the oldest of six. We're all very close. While my preference is to stay near my family, I know that it might not be realistic and that someday I will probably end up moving away.
