Reading.  I devour books.  I was the kid that had to have something to read at the breakfast table.  Too often I got stuck with the backs of cereal boxes.  ;)

I am known as the "get married - make babies early" advocate at my church.  Downside is the 3 single guys ain't too keen on that stuff.  :)  But, all the girls agree and now I have more friends!

Single- Never Married
I am a non-smoker
Bachelor's degree
I would like to have children one day.

I was raised in a Christian home, and brought from my self-righteousness to the Cross of Christ around age 14.  I became reformed at 16, and have rejoiced to see the Lord at work in my life for His glory.  I try to stick to the simplicity of the Gospel, yet enjoy digging deeper into theology.

I have been blessed by the ministry of Mark Driscoll, John Piper and CJ & Carolyn Mahaney.

Wow, what a question.  It is so difficult to describe what is such a major part of Christianity.  CS Lewis once said that one doesn't just believe in the sun because he can see it, but because by it he can see everything else.  That's kind of how I view reformed theology.  it isn't just another compartment - it is God-centered thought.

As I side note:  While I am whole-heartedly reformed and greatly appreciate all the contributions of the early reformers, puritans, etc.  I think there is a point where enough is enough.  John Calvin is dead.  Jesus is alive.  Let's not confuse them.  : )

Yes, usually at night.  It depends, I am working through John Owen's "Overcoming Sin and Temptation"...sometimes my nifty ESV Study Bible along with a little Wayne Grudem to help me "focus in" on a particular area I've been thinking about.

I am listening to the "Valley of Vision" prayers right now in my car - wow!  If you don't have them, buy them from Monergism.  Amazing!

I try to make my study time more than a morning ritual.  I like to mix things up.  A favorite change for me is a long walk with my iPod playing the latest Mars Hill sermon.

Ruth.  She claimed Naomi's God as her own.  Her faith was strong when all was lost, new and unknown.  Hey, and she ended up with the Mr. Darcy too.  What's not to love about a Biblical chick flick?

Content as in making the most of it, yes.

I did things alittle bit differently and specifically finished my BA at 18 in order to be productive and help make my single years short and fruitful.

This issue is very important to me, as I have so many friends in their late 20's that are not being pursued by Christian men.  These girls don't need a talk on contentment, they each need a hubby and some newborns.

Hmm, positive I assume  Laughing
Passionate, encouraging, honest, committed

I love Jesus Christ.  I love babies and am a pro life activist.  I work for missionaries and am excited about what God is going around the world for His glory.

My salvation.  To be a wretch saved by Jesus' life and death is amazing.  I hope my life reflects my gratefulness.

My amazing family, and the freedoms we have in this great country.

I am a talkative person, and have had alot of experiences for my age....because of this I've never really been interested in most guys my age (you can only play Guitar Hero so long people!)  Because it seems that guys mature later, I am all for age differences.

When men take the initiative in spirituality, relationships, church, etc.  I feel at ease with who God created me as a woman.  When guys let me choose everything, or are wishy-washy, and unintentional - I feel off balance and unsure of my role.  I appreciate seeing guys make that effort to grow in leadership, that's all.  :D

I'd say the next most influential person has been my "adopted" second dad, Dr. Peter Hammond (Frontline Fellowship).  He is a missionary in Africa that convinced me to become reformed in the first place, and has helped disciple me in so many ways.  He baptized me in South Africa ... and I am so grateful for his insight and wisdom.
Eh, like I said earlier.  Guitar Hero isn't a job.  Tongueout

I would quote Jane Austen, but I can hear all the guys groaning right now....

I liked this quote because it so accurately describes my life before Jesus:

“The astonishing thing is that people can become religious without being converted. That is, they join churches and start reading the Bible and doing religious things with no change in the foundation of their happiness: It is still themselves. They are the ground of their joy.”  John Piper

I run a missionary non-profit and love it.  It has forced me to come out of my shell and deal with people (and problems) from all over the world.  I work in pro-life and am starting an internship with Morgan Stanley to work in finance soon.

Well, I think the most important thing in life is preparing to die well and be with Jesus.  So, there you have it.

Ice-skating.  I used to compete, but now skate for fun and teach a bit too.

I am a book-aholic - love em.

In the heart of the city, In the suburbs
Born and raised in the Silicon Valley.  Spent a couple of summers in South Africa.  I would like to travel, and used to want to do missions overseas - but honestly, I see such a need for committed, hospitable families here, I don't know that it's neccessary to move.  We'll see.

I am the 4th of 5.  Auntie to 9.  I want lots of children - I couldn't see myself with less than 5.  I may also be open to foster care and/or adoption.

I don't mind relocating, of course it depends on the situation.  I'm not a big fan of isolated areas.  I like city-access.

I love Boundless, by the way.  I agree with pretty much everything they say about relationships.  :)  www.boundless.org

I have far more books than time to read them. It's a good problem to have!

BTW, I am a huge fan of the ESV Study Bible. I try to make every customer walk out the door with one! -- Mark Driscoll recommended it in a podcast and I got it as soon as it released based on his recommendation.

I don't know why the guys groan over your marry early and make babies soon. Any true Christian man should share that same attitude.

Boundless is a great resource!

I am also a huge advocate for the marry young approach to life. My best friend has been happily married for 7 years since turning 19.

Not hard, but it has been good!
