I was born into a Christian home, so I am unable to pinpoint when I was drawn to Christ. Now I strive to spend time in daily devotions, and prayer. I enjoy spending time in God's house on Sunday and with God's people throughout the week.
The Doctrines of Grace really intrigue me. Just today our pastor said that it isn't up to us to comprehend why God does things or even to worry about whether or not we are among the elect. Rather God commands us to believe in Him and be saved, and that is it! That is the beauty of Christianity all God commands us to do is believe and trust in Him, He has already done all the work for us!
Yes, right now I am reading through a Chronological Bible. How wonderful it is to read the Bible in order of the events that happened, it almost feels as if I am watching things happen right in front of me.

Kind of a hard question to answer. If I was completely content being single, I don't thing I would be a member on this site. Right now I am content being single, because that is what God desires for me. I hope that someday God's plan for my life will include marriage. Yet at the same time, I put my life in His hands and if it be His Will for me to stay single then I know that is the best thing for me.

That would be my pastor growing up, who is also my current pastor. He taught me an appreciation for church history and a desire to learn more about God's Word.
We just weren't compatible and we had different hopes for the future. It has been about 3 months. I have learned most importantly not to rush things, to let things happen in God's timing. And to let the man in the relationship be the leader and pursuer.
My favorite verse is Psalm 121. My favorite hymn is "Amid the Thronging Worshippers"

I am a nurse at a cancer center, I have worked there 4 years and I have been in nursing for 7 years. My patients teach me to be thankful for each day God gives me. I do enjoy it, if I didn't I don't think I could have done it for this long.

I was born in Washington state. I have traveled to many different states, and places in Canada. I have also been to the Caribbean, Europe, Austrailia, Alaska, Hawaii, South and Central America.
I have three brothers and a half sister. I am in the middle. My parents and youngest brother live in Washington State. My dad owns a farm equipment business and my mom is a homemaker. My sister lives in Indiana with her husband and two kids. My older brother lives in Iowa with his wife. One of my younger brothers recently moved ot Oregon and the other is in high school. We are quite close. I would like to eventually relocate to a place where some of family is, yet I am open to anything.
