Single- Never Married
I was blessed the same way the Iseralites were in Romans 9:4--born in the church, I have been raised with the truth of Christ all my life.  I've professed Christ for as long as I can remember (preaching to my classmates in kindergarden, telling them God is stronger than superman :D), and as time grew so did my sin.  The worst my sin got, the faster I started to run to Christ.

My walk with God is a struggle with a bitter, sweet taste.  The sin hurts, but God teaches me to run to Christ faster and faster with each failure.  I can't find anything more satisfiying than the Cross.  My walk has been better than it has ever been.
Much in every way!  What you believe affects everthing else.  The Doctrines of Grace are the foundation for which my whole life is built upon!  I am a sinner justified by the grace of God!  Grace is the basis of my relationship with God, and more and more needs to become the basis of my relationship with others.

I have found rich depth in the exploration of grace.  It's an endless subject that will be sung forever.  I don't go a day without thinking about it (or probably even talking about it with my friends).  It's the only hope I have to offer to the lost and hopeless world, and it is sufficient to bring peace and joy to one's life beyond the world's understanding.  Grace is the theme for which I worship God.
I like how it's called "Quiet Time" -- I usually read outloud while walking around the house XD!  I'm trying to read through the whole Bible and am at 1 Kings.  I'm seeking to sharpen my understanding of the Old Testament.  My church has consitantly been proving to me that Christ is everywhere in the OT, and I've been seeing that more and more!  It's very exciting!  What consistancy the Bible has.  God in the Old Testament demonstrates just as much love and mercy, justice and wrath as He does in the New Testament.  I'm not buying into those who say God's love is more emphasied in the New Testament and His wrath is more emphasied in the Old.
Haha, the answer to this question is a Sunday school answer: Jesus.  No one else in the Bible convinces me more that the Bible is the Word of God than Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh.  His spiritual depth of understanding just blows away natural philosophy.  His colorful expressions of jealousy for God's glory and merciful pity on the broken are far more beautiful than anyone else.  He's the hero of the Book, the knight in shining armor,  and when the world thought He would take the nations with the power of iron--He laid down His life.  Oh, but He rose from the grave and does indeed reign; destroying His enemies with the refining fire of His gospel--be they bow the knee, or harden their hearts to judgment.
I cannot figure out, with Paul, the secret to contement in this area.  I do not have the gift of singleness and would very much like to get married while I'm somewhat young.

Why?  That's a much harder question to answer.  Yikes... here we go... The temptation to sexual immorality is a temptation I don't fight--I flee (1 Cor. 6:18).  Marriage is one of the means by which I want to flee from it (1 Cor 7:2).  I have struggled with horrific pornography and only through difficult conffession and prayers of righteous men have I been able to get away from it, but the terrifying scares it has left in me are very painful (PLEASE, Flee Pornography!!!).  I want a pure mind and a clean heart.  I want to have a godly, natural relationship with a godly woman -- not these sick fantasies.  What an empty love porography gives.

I also desire companionship.  I long for someone to share life's sorrows and joys with.  Someone to strengthen and encourage me in the Lord.  Someone I can protect and guide in the Lord.

Uh oh.  I suppose I have to be honest about this : )
Without actually asking them I assume it would look like this:

Pros

- Passionate for Christ

- Knowlegable and Helpful concerning Christian Doctrine

- Funny / Enjoyable

- Easy to Deal With and/or Forgiving and Hard to Irritate

Cons

- Addictive Personality -- I'll get caught up with a single topic or hobby solidly for a while then immedialty drop it all and jump over to another one.  I can easily see how this is annoying.

- Unorganized -- need mercy, need help and movitvation in organizing my time better.

- Depressing -- yikes, this one's bad.  It counters enjoyable!  I've been known to talk about the evils of the world and in the church to a depressing degree.  Ladies, I need someone merciful and determined to take me back to the goodness and sovereignty of God in the midst of this evil world.

My God.  I want Him to be my meditation for the day, the words on my tongue, the direction of my actions, and the delight of my heart.  I am a sinner and there are many things that seek to fight for primicy in my life.  I'm looking for someone who will share the fight in encouraging one another to perfect our passion for God, even to the point of shedding our blood (Heb. 12:4).

Easy,

Passion for Christ -- Someone who never tires of talking about Him.  Someone who initiates conversations with godly topics.  Someone who is hungry and studies to know Him.  Someone who's life and words share Christ with others.

Merciful -- Sproul once said, and I've taken it to heart, "Unless at least one person in a relationship is merciful, the relationship will fall apart."  Relationships depend on mercy.  I am a sinner.  I make plenty of mistakes, often.  I say/do annoying things.  I need mercy.

Communicative -- Someone who talks and how she feels: What's going on in your life (good and bad)?  What's annoying thing did I do this time Smile?  What do you really think about what I said, agree or disagree?  Without communication the relationship will dry up.

Sweet -- There's nothing more life-giving than a gentle and kind woman.  Someone who seeks to heal more than tear down.  My male friends and elders do fine in the loving, tearing down part!

I don't think I would desire a marriage with someone who utterly lacked one of these qualities; however, there is room for grace for those who struggle with them!

John Piper -- God used this man to grow in me a passion for Christ!  His God-gifted teaching has led me to understand without a doubt that desiring God is the purpose of all life.

Mark Keiler -- CrossTV host.  I grew up watching Mark Keiler.  Over the years I have come to not agree with eye-to-eye with him on all points, but he has taught me the essentails in detail.  I really want to meet him someday.

My Elders -- There's several to list but a good summary is that the elders in my church have been a prime example of godly men.  This was the first church I've gone to where the elders actively sought to meet with me and discuss my spiritual walk with God.  From one I have witnessed passion and joy that I can only hope to attain.  From another I have seen a wonderful mixture of stern seriousness of sin and merciful forgiveness.  From another I learned the value of deep Biblical study and a godly life.  From another I experienced what it feels like to be truly loved.

ohhh... this would take a long time for me to type at the moment.
I'll save it for another day.

I have a variety of random things.  Nothing is probably permanent.

* I humbly work at a gas station.  It's teaching me to work on my patience and pride.

* I work for an architect company making DVD visual presentations of their blueprints

* I'm temporarly working for an oil/pipe-line company doing a variety of graphic design things.

* I work random jobs for a professor at the college.

* I have 2 1/2 to 3 years of college left.  I haven't decided on my major.

No, not really.  Go whever God sends me.  Do whatever God gives me to do.  I don't see much value in making long-term goals.  I just want to work hard to provide for my family's needs and represent Christ.  I don't want to waste my life worrying about things that are outside of my control.  God promises to provide, and I am responsible for being diligent.

Graphic Design -- I like working on 3ds Max and Adobe products such as Photoshop, Premiere, etc.  Fun projects can be anywhere from posters to funny videos to experiments.

Anime -- Uh oh, presupposition alert -- how many of you are thinking of something like Dragon Ball Z?  I mentioned earlier I love storytelling.  I also love art and animation.  Anime is a genre of storytelling that I really do enjoy.  Naturally the worldview in Anime is most often nonsense, but I watch it for the tecnical excellency aspect.  Examples of titles I really like are Death Note (I know that sounds bad, it's a brilliant detective show, although dark), Castle in the Sky, Mushi-shi, Avatar: The Last Airbender, etc.  Kid at heart :D

Outside -- I like walks and riding my bike.  I go to parks and just observe the wisdom of God's creation.

Writing -- I like to write thoughts out.  Writing helps me clear my head and is very effective.

* It is not at all a show-stopper if you don't enjoy any of these.  It would be great to have someone with different interests and makes me try new things.

Born in the country.  I have traveled to Canada, Alaska, and Thailand.  All beautiful.

My wonderful Christian Father passed away when I was nine, and my wonderful Christian mother remarried a few years ago.  My step-father is a loving and faithful man to my mom.  I get along with him fine, although I wouldn't say I know him all that well.  My mom is wonderful and I was a pretty bad son to her.  I very deeply regret it.  Our relationship has been mended now that I've grown up and we keep in touch fairly often.  I have two older brothers, one Christian, one Atheist.  Both are great brothers when it comes to 'brother' things, but only my Christian brother and I share deep values in life.

Relocating may be fine.  Most of my family is already spread out.  I really like my church and have purchased a house in this town.

I don't watch TV and actually kind of hate it.  Not a show-stopper, but I would have a problem with having a TV hooked up to the TV-Network (especially if we had kids).  The Internet is fine so long as computers are in public vicinity or regulated in someway.
