With 5 children to raise, I don't have time for many interests of my own. I generally like to talk politics and theology. We sometimes work as a family on campaigns of candidates we believe in, i.e. they hold to a biblical worldview and constitutional government. We like to play tennis as a family, go to the park. Some of us like brisk walks in the evening, which gives us some daily exercise. We don't watch a whole lot of tv, if any, but we like to chill out sometimes and watch appropriate movies or other recorded things.

I am a non-smoker
I don't touch the stuff
Bachelor's degree
I have children and would gladly accept someone else's!
I've been drawn to Christ since I was a child. I've had knowledge of my sin and need of forgiveness since I was 13, and having been raised Catholic, I went to confession regularly. I prayed to receive Christ for the first time soon after I was married at the age of 21. There was fruit in my life and a desire to grow closer to the Lord, but as with many people, there have been hills and valleys in my walk. I am closer to the Lord now than ever in my life, although I am far from having everything figured out. I seek Him, try to trust Him, do the best I can with the hand He's dealt me and leave the fruit to HIm.

The Doctrines of Grace have made the bible come alive for me, because I can read the whole thing without skipping past certain parts. They have allowed me to engage my mind with the scriptures and understand more clearly what they say about who God is, what Christ has done, and what I'm supposed to do. Discovering the Doctrines of Grace has helped me obey Rom 12:2 to a greater degree.

I have time with the Lord usually daily, but not always at the same time. I am currently reading the bible through in a year, and am studying John in two different bible studies. I also habitually listen to solid bible teaching on my favorite Christian radio station. And when it's not too cold or hot or raining, I love to take prayerwalks over my lunch break (on days I'm not having lunch with a client).

Of course in terms of who He is and What He's done for me it's Christ. In terms of who I identify with, I think it would be David and Peter. Both human beings with human frailties and weaknesses. I love knowing you don't have to be perfect to be accepted and forgiven.

I am a single father of five children from 16 down to 5 years old, and I have a strong conviction to homeschool them. This is not a situation that lends itself to a one-man show. Besides logistical reasons, I miss the closeness and companionship of a like-minded woman running the race along-side me. And although I highly value them, friends don't quite count the same way, and neither does family. There is something unique about the bond between husband and wife, and I miss that a lot. I am not one who is called to singleness forever. That said, by God's grace, I am content. I have learned to live as a single person, because that is where He has me right now. And while I don't necessarily like being single, I can remain so as long as the Lord has decided I need to be.
Raising my children to be godly, productive young men and women would be number one. I'm also pretty passionate about restoring the constitution to it's rightful place in our federal government, and seeing godly, principled candidates elected at all levels.
Of course the number one thing I'm thankful for is my Savior! I'm nowhere without Him. He's also given me nearly 20 years of marriage to a wonderful woman who gave me 5 wonderful children which I don't deserve but am grateful for nonetheless. I am also extremely grateful for all the friends and family in the community He's blessed me with. They have all been instrumental in helping me raise my children.

Well, it has to start with integrity. It's hard to relate without that. Like most people, I kind of like to be listened to, so I really enjoy someone who is attentive, and I try to be attentive as well. I actually think I'm a good listener. I like to be fairly thrifty and enjoy getting a bargain. I could go on and on about character qualities and my own strengths and deficiencies, but that would take a while.

It's hard to narrow it down to one. Many bible teachers have influenced me greatly: John MacArthur, R.C. Sproul, John Piper, A.W. Pink, Hank Hanegraaf...

My dear sweet wife of nearly 20 years passed away suddenly over a year ago. She was the love of my life and my high school sweetheart. I'm not sure what I've learned except that the Lord is with us in our pain, He is faithful, and I must daily depend on Him. I'm also learning to live with uncertainty.

My life verse is Romans 12:2. I have a lot of favorite hymns including Be Thou My Vision, Come Thou Fount, and A Mighty Fortress.

I work in the field of advertising. I've been doing it for 7 years, and it's the best job I've ever had. Love it!

I have pretty straightforward goals: raise reasonably godly children who fly right after they leave the nest and grow in godliness in my own walk. Help others as much as I can along the way.

Not much of that but I like to read, play tennis, watch movies and such. Most of my leisure is spent in family activities. We do most things together as a family. I'm not really a tv sports nut, but I like to go to actual games once in a while. I actually enjoy just being at home.
In the suburbs
Born in Ohio. Travelled to Virginia, Maryland, Okinawa (Japan), Puerto Rico (met my wife there), Guam (graduated High School there), Connecticut, Washington, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma (the best)

I have 5 children ages 16 down to 5. Two boys, three girls. Great kids! Everyone thinks so. I'm not a big fan of relocating. We are well-established in our community, and I don't know of a better state in which to raise a family than Oklahoma. It is certainly the most favorable towards homeschooling.

Boating, Sail, Camping, Cards, Puzzles, Board Games, Dancing, Ballroom, Fitness, Gardening, Golf, Miniature, Ice Skating, Jetski/Personal Watercraft, Movies, Movies at the Drive-in, Museums, Music, Racquetball, Reading, Rollerskating, Scenic Drives, Sightseeing, Skiing/Downhill, Table-Tennis, Tennis, Theatre, Volleyball, Volunteering, Walking, Zoos

I'm looking for someone to love and be loved by and spend the rest of my life with, someone with reasonably similar goals. I'm looking for someone who likes the idea of managing a home and raising some wonderful, loving children. And I'm not just doting. My kids are well-loved in our community. We're not rich, but we manage well on a single income, and enjoy living debt free, so a second income isn't necessary. We don't live opulently, but we live on a small lake in the suburbs with Canadian Geese and ducks and such. We're not perfect, but we laugh, love and live life as best and as biblically as we can. If this kind of life appeals to you, by all means let's communicate! Who knows what the Lord might do!
