How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?:	Although I grew up attending church, I rejected it through high school. The Lord began working in me the summer before my senior year in high school and brought me to a clear understanding of what it meant to be a Christian my freshman year in college. By His grace He brought me under reformed teaching that same year and impressed on me a desire to uphold Biblical truth. There have been definite ebbs and flows in my walk with Christ and am grateful that He has now worked in me a steadiness and firmness in Himself as my hope and identity.
Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?:	I just started reading through the Bible again, so instead of an instense study of one book (I just finished John) I am reading in Exodus, the Psalms and Matthew. I read in the morning with a cup of coffee.
Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?:	I am content in Christ and Him working through me and am thankful that His mercies are new every morning. I desire to do His will and trust in His sovereign and gracious plan, which for me right now is being single, which allows me to focus all the more on His kingdom...
What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?:	According to my friend Jenny: simple, compassionate, real, individualistic, which is not a good thing.
What are you most passionate about?:	I am not most passionate about raisins, but I do love them. I also am passionate about God's creation.
What are three things you are most thankful for?:	1. His unending mercy to transfer me from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light 2. Like-minded friends that push me to seek Christ 3. Family
Do you have any favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?:	Beneath the Cross of Jesus (Christopher Miner) I take across Thy shadow for my abiding place, I ask no other sunshine than the sunshine of His face, content to let the world go by, to know no gain nor loss, my sinful self my only shame my glory oh the cross. (that is my prayer, that someday I would know no gain nor loss- just Christ) All of Grace (Charles H. Spurgeon) "Spiritually it is a blessed thing to leave altogether the shores of sight and feeling, and to say 'good bye' to inward feelings, cheering providences, signs tokens and so forth, It is glorious to be far out on the ocean of divine love, and steering for heaven straight away by the direction of the Word of God. (Heidelberg Catechism) That I am not my own, but belong to my faithful savior Jesus Christ, who has fully paid for all my sins by His precious blood, and delivered me from all the power of the devil, and so preserves me in such a way that without the will of my heavenly Father not a hair will fall from my head, yea all things must work together for the good of my salvation. And by the Holy Spirit He assures of eternal life and makes me ready and willing to henceforth live unto Him.
What type of work do/did you do? How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?:	I currently work at a community college, Colorado Mountain College, in the Natural Resource Management Department. I work as an 'assistant project manager' during the day and teach one class each semester in the evenings. More or less I do a lot of remediation/field work, write grants, reports and work with student interns. I am now in my 6th month of working here. This is my first job as I have been in school before now. I enjoy my job- but often struggle with contentment as I think something/somewhere else is better... working on that.
How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?:	I enjoy reading, running, hiking/being outdoors, gardening, cooking, and traveling. I also like to draw, make jewelry and take pictures but I don't have much time for those things as of now...
My ideal place to live is:	A farm/cottage in the county, A cabin in the woods, Lost in the wilderness, On the move
Where were you born and where have you traveled?:	I was born in Colorado, did my undergraduate in Washington (University of Puget Sound) and finished graduate school in Kansas. I've spent time in Mexico City on a mission trip. My family lived in Australia for a year as my father did a teaching exchange. In betweeen undergraduate and graduate school I traveled to Europe and got to visit Spain, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Greece, England and Ireland
