I grew up in a Christian home, but it wsn't till I was in 12th grade that I really put my faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Over the years, that faith has been strengthened. Life, trials, circumstances, and everyday happenings have brought me closer to the Lord. I believe we need to daily surrender our lives to Him, daily ask for forgiveness, because we daily need Him to help, guidance, and support. We can't do anything good in our own strength. I know I need Him in every aspect of life, and I'm thankful that in spite of my failures, He is always there for me.
