Hello Sovereign Grace Singles!
Although it may not be yet apparent, there are some great things happening at SGS.
1) An Advisory Board has been formed to provide accountability, give suggestions and provide critique of SGS. Many goood suggestions have been made and they will be acted upon in the next few months.
2) In an effort to make my desire for SGS to become a place where Reformed Singles can gather not only online but also in PERSON, I have purchased a Trendwest Resorts Timeshare to be used by Subscribers of SGS at locations around the US and also, in time, the world, to gather and do whatever the Organizer of the Event has planned.
I have desired, from the beginning of SGS in January of this year, to have individual Subscribers become the Sponsers of Events and do so locally to them. Take a look at www.Trendwest.com and look at the locations where they have Resorts and consider planning/Sponsering an Event for a few days or even a week if you wish. Let me know your ideas and we'll see it we can make it happen! Be creative!!
I am specifically mentioning this at this time because I am planning on doing this for the Retreat in Seattle at the end of August. As many of you know, I and several other SGS Members are going on the Alaska Cruise at the end of August and we thought it would also be a great opportunity to have a Retreat for those who would like to get together but for whom the Cruise was/is a bit too much to afford right now.
In an attempt to make the Retreat as "doable" for as many of you as possible, I'm working on getting as many "rooms" (actually they are very luxurious condos) as needed for those of you attending and at a VERY discounted rate than that of the hotel hosting the Debates mentioned below.
This is a link showing the Trendwest Resort in the heart of downtown Seattle minutes away from the Debate's location and the many wonderful sights Seattle has to offer!
This is the two-day schedule of the Alpha and Omega Debates and Conference beginning at 9:00 am, August 27th, 2004 at the Seattle Airport Marriot. You can chose to attend whatever you wish and in the "down time" I would have fun being your "Host" and show you all around some of the sights of Seattle... the "Emerald City"!!
Let me know if you'd like to attend! The time is running out and you'll need to make your reservations soon! Maybe I'll see you there!
